I didn't want to look it up, but I suspected they cooked the clock as much as they could. Especially after having to change it from a 2 to a 3. Hate to see the proof of it. They can do whatever they want. After all, the foul happens when the ref says it happens

No, you don't have to be an NBA athlete to know when someone isn't giving effort, he's not given much effort since he knew Miami was going up 3-0. Good lord, a lot of coaches weren't NBA players why are they coaching then?

It's usually pretty easy to see if Butler is giving effort or coasting for the game in the first quarter. I've watched him do this his whole career.

I really don't know. Did you notice him picking up his dribble early because I did, he got stuck far away from the basket a few times, I saw him attack the paint and then... nothing. This looks like how he played in the 2021 playoffs when the Heat got swept, the easy shots he's missing now are exactly the same shots he was missing in 2021's playoffs and nobody mentioned him injured for that series.

So if he's not injured.... maybe he's just a front runner that needs specific situations to be able to play well? Like, a real superstar cannot be stopped, no matter who they play, they will get their 30 and can iso score.

Maybe Jimmy is exposed as a streaky player without the tools to dominate like that.

This ian't the first sick feeling i've had watching refs rig a game. over 15yrs of this sh*t. You never get used to it.

Officiating was horrendous. They did the best they cld to get this to a game 7. Ratings will be HUGE....thus Revenue for NBA will be HUGE. Unfortunately they f*cked us up in the process which is extremely agitating.

The question now is are they satisfied w/ the gm7 profits or do they also want Boston too to advance to the NBA Finals. If they do and the calls continue to be the same then we're all going to feel very sick by the end of gm7.

meh. Went back and rewatched the replays in slow mo on that Horford foul. The foul actually does occur around the 3 second mark. If it were the other way around we'd want them to add in the the correct time as well. Not upset about it.

Highsmith did not play all game. Zeller played 2mins. I doubt very many coaches put someone in cold at that point in the game.

Like I said earlier, Dwyane Wade has spoiled df out of me. I foolishly held this expectation on Jimmy and he seemed like he was becoming that...then the last few games happened. Going into Boston game 7? Blowout.

Quite possibly, but just watching him in the first it's usually easy to see if he's going to give the effort for a good game. He's playing differently and I don't understand why, that's not streaky, that's about effort.

In a world where any of them are in in place of Max and it works out, Spo would have been brilliant. In a world where any of them are in for Max and it doesn't work out, Spo would be moron. All of them have major warts. There's a reason why half our rotation's next job will be bagging groceries.

Maybe if Lowry was the one who was put in the game. But High Smith? literally, no one would have an issue with that. that's literally his only role on this team, as an athletic defensive player.

You realize that doesn't actually say anything right? Someone had to be on the team and we couldn't afford better players, so some guys like this stick. Can you say with any certainty that he's even still in the NBA in 6 months?

How did we get from it would have been fine to have a lengthy defender on the inbounder to asking if the guy deserves to be in the NBA?

Teams often bring the tallest player they can off of the bench in those situations, just to make the pass difficult and or deflect it. Has nothing to do with anybody thinking Highsmith is some All-star in waiting.

I will say seeing and hearing Jimmy's positivity in the post game made me feel a little better. Really just need this dude to come out Monday and play his ass off from the jump.
