How many bad games have the Celtics played at home in the playoffs during the big 3 era? I can’t even remember besides the Lebron game 6 but that was more so of one of the greatest performances ever.

This core? So many **** trash performances at home in the playoffs. The lack of effort and intensity is awful. They need new players not these loser minded players who don’t play hard from the start.

SOFT A$$ GROUP. This season was a failure, I don’t want to hear about it being a good season. The Heat are celebrating on our court! We need an Alpha, the J’s crapped the bed man. Idc that JT rolled his ankle, instead of trying to push through he was reacting to every move and dragged the entire group down . JB can go tomorrow, this group needs a shake up…….. oh and Fire Joe Tonight!!!!!

With that said, from an outsider perspective who has watched this core a ton over the last half decade. I do think there is a ceiling to this core and its pretty hard to overcome that. And I do think a struggle of a game like this can lead to the necessary changes to shake it up.

I never wanted to trade anybody ever since this core came. But something's not working. Sorry JB, sorry Al, **** you Joe.

I actually was more crushed over the game 6 I thought we lost before the miracle. This game was so laughable it's hard to even be crushed. They played so bad my emotions never really got into it.

Such a shame to come this far and crater in game 7. I think injuries played a big part in this loss as well as fatigue. Joe ran his starters into the ground and never played Hauser or Pritchard. Yes, Jaylen was bad in this series snd was really bad tonight. But for many games this year he was our best player. Snd if you move on from him who do you get? I still want joe gone; he clung to his stupid offense even when 3’s werent falling. We need better post play snd more energy off the bench. A tired team doesnt hit 3’s and we were gassed tonight.

This core is the OKC Thunder with Harden KD and Westbrick. 1 finals appearance and a bunch of deep playoff runs with choke jobs.

No he didn't. He was never getting fired this year.

He's gone next year though.

Reality is this wasn’t a championship team. Never built championship habits. The hot start was on the back of exceptional unsustainable shooting. The defence was never consistent. The rotations were constantly changing.

Last years team may not have got the job done either but they had championship habits.

I never want to hear anyone say Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum are on the same level or Brown is better. Tatum may not be perfect but he doesn’t lose the ball like a 5th grader going up against college players every **** second possession he dribbles on.

I don’t know where we go from here.

It’s quite clear that the Mazzulla ball BS won’t win you a title. We basically never had a chance of winning any game this season if the three wasn’t falling. That **** doesn’t give things done in the playoffs. Especially when you are relying on shooters that over their careers aren’t that flash.

Another season where a chip was right there for the taking and pathetic execution and system late in the season costs us.

Couldn’t ask for a more pathetic showing on your home floor in game 7.

Doesn't matter. This organization is content with being in the ECF every year and nothing more. They don't really want to win titles. The Heat want titles. Thats the difference. F this organization. Make some changes for the first time since Kyrie left.

lol Miami is about to get swept.

Difference between them and us is the coach

Smart, White, Tatum, JB all need to play next to a IT in order to have an inside out game and mix things up.

trade either Jaylen Brown

Or trade both Smart and White in the same trade.

And find the next Isaiah Thomas (the small one that was here)

You put 4 **** people together all with the same weakness, then the only one that developed enough to be an off guard PG skill in Tatum who got his ankle rolled this is what you get.

It's just STUPID roster construction.

Just one point guard, that's all they need. They ALL need it. Without one you either get Tatum setting NBA records for turnovers in the playoffs. Or you get Tatum with a little ankle roll and Smart can't score so he can't be a lead guard so you get JB doing what he did tonight and getting 8 turnovers in Game 7.

WE NEED A GENERAL MANAGER TO **** PUT PLAYERS THAT COMPLEMENT EACH OTHER ON THE ROSTER NOT JUST DUPLICATES OF EACH OTHER.

I would look to trade Jaylen now. He is what he is, but I do not want to supermax this guy. It will turn into a massive regret.

I don't think they will keep him. Brad gave Joe the best roster in basketball with very little holes and couldn't get them to put it together. He was set up for failure, we should've never put a 33 year old with ZERO head coach experience in that position

I hope you're right that they'll replace him, and I agree it's not his fault that he was thrust into a situation that he was not ready for. He may be a good coach years down the line, but he's not the right guy for a championship roster (or at least one that's close to being one.)

He was never in danger. This is Brads guy. The only way he gets canned is if Brad goes back to college.

It's probably good this Celtics bunch didn't make it to the Finals.. the Nuggets would have taken their souls.

I’m not up to speed with all the Contracts, bird rights, animal rights, dog rights, super max this or that but if the Suns can trade for a 50 million a year player then I don’t want to hear “contracts keep us from making a deal”

I don’t see RWilliams Smart or Brown getting any better, explore every deal
Stevens built a good team but not good enough

Oh I agree but im just saying unless they get equal value they need to max him because no one else is coming here thats even close to him. Weather and nightlife are real things in the NBA
