Zelda:TOTK

Spoiler:
I feel like the game didn't push me enough to know there were additional skills to be unlocked after the first few, specifically Autobuild.

What a game changer.

Still wandering aimlessly, but just experienced the joy of the kids running to class in Hateno. So cool.

Truly fascinating to watch billions in tech research get flushed down the toilet in real-time. Yes, I'm watching the Apple AR headset presentation.

As someone who has a good amount of time on the quest I am fully onboard with VR being the future in a lot of ways. It's a very cool experience, but it has a way to go. Apple definitely means that it's finally entering mainstream but this price point is insane, and 2 hour battery life?

Also, the very first presenter sounded like a South Park character. I couldn't focus.

You couldn't even watch any of the movies they demo'd until the end.

Right. And while I've done plenty of stuff with the Quest plugged in, it really is a much better experience when you're not attached to any sort of wire.

I love the thought of it, but I know better than to jump in to the first iteration of a product like this.

Hopefully it gets smaller and smaller.

As someone who often mocks people scared of big tech controlling society (Chat GTP isn't actual "AI" you idiots), I have no interest in AR or VR. Hopefully I die long before Ready Player One becomes our actual "reality".

Atari 2600 Raiders of the lost ark. What time do you have to dig? Any old vintage gamers here? I use to know as a kid. I think the stick with the jewel tells but I thought it was the same for every game? Or is it random? I played ATARI 2600 age 5. Now 45.

Have my sorcerer up to level 39. Might just do a bunch of side quests/dungeons tonight to build up renown in Scosglen and Dry Steppes.

That's where I'm at too. I've been sprinting to the end since last night and haven't given any thought to Renown. Didn't even know what it was. I should probably look into that but I think I'm just gonna try and finish the campaign.

I think it look super cool but there's no way in hell I'm paying 4 grand for one.

Thought it was interesting that in the demo they're using a Dualsense controller to play games.

Completed A2. Loving the story. Looks like servers crashed now, though, so might call it for the night. Just hoping I've still beaten A2 come morning :o

I was hoping to finish off A3 when they went down. Not a lot of confidence that my progress is gonna be saved. I've noticed that's been an unfortunate issue when I've shut down for the night. Start playing the next day and a lot of progress is missing.
