Good morning

The problem with bam was he missing uncontested shots even if a smaller defender was on him, in the post. For example, Aaron Gordon had absolutely no problem bullying smaller defenders to the basket. It was just eyesore when bam missing these shots against smaller player. If he made these, the game would have been absolutely close and there has been case where Jokic would dare bam to shoot by leaving him slightly open for example bam was all the way up at high school’s three point line not nba 3 point line while jokic was all the way down in the paint and guess what bam was doing? Hand off the ball to someone coming off the sceeen when he was completely open to take the shot and Martin correctly point out that Bam should’ve taken the shot. Bam just need to punish Jokic for leaving him slightly open to open up the paint a little bit.

We don't have anyone that can score consistently in the paint. Denver can get a "paint bucket" any time they want. We can't, and it's hurting us

We wanted Bam to attack Jokic at all costs but clearly he’s not capable. It’s a ‘just human’ approach that he feels overly comfortable taking a mid range fade instead

He’s inconsistent because he’s soft mentally. Same as Bam. He also acts like he’s doing US a favor by accepting $40M to play. He sees his job as being in the court. Winning and performing is not, in his mind, in the job description.

And guess what? Sporon won’t push for a signing if such player. He wants to have his useless defensive switches. He rather die proving his defensive scheme is genius than adapting and winning titles.

We have to get back to forcing turnovers that worked so well in the last series. Steals, deflections, and fast break opportunities. I’d like to see Bam be more of a facilitator if he’s too scared of contact to go at Jokic. Jimmy needs to be the transition offense for this team and at least trying hard to get to the FT line if he’s not going to contribute in other areas offensively
