The Hawks hired Igor Kokoskov as lead assistant to Quin Snyder, a position Igor previously held with Snyder on the Jazz. Snyder and Kokoskov work well together, and may be able to raise the Hawks' game a notch or two. Kokoskov coached the Slovenian national team to the Eurobasket championship in 2017 with then 18 y/o Luka Doncic and 31 y/o Goran Dragic.

First time in 24 years he won't start the season as an NBA head coach. Unfortunately that means the NBA talking heads will constantly lobby for him to get a job non-stop(see Mark Jackson).
