I can tell it's coming. This is the same team that could have Dedmon playing in the Finals if he was still here.
Why do I feel like he would've been better than Zeller? Am I nuts?

I've been trying to balance Zelda, Diablo, and Street Fighter while FF16 is around the corner. :nonono:

I expect him to be stretched and waived saving us 6 million off that number. We need to trade one of our bloated salaries for multiple players to help fill out the roster.

I think you’re understating Dipos expiring, that’ll be a good added trade chip for filler. Team want the expiring, they don’t care about the player. With Lowry and Dipo we have Westbrook money in expirings

Westbrook is worse than Gabe for this team. Significantly.

Ok

My point was with those 2 contracts combined we have the same Westbrook expiring that the lakers made a great deal out of this season and we should be able to get something done with them

And all the guys on Five Reasons think Herro won’t play here again.

I def think Herro is going to request a trade. To not play one of your best players after he was cleared from injury; not a single minute? Can't possibly sit well with him.

Spo's actions indicate he doesn't trust him. We have to trade him now whether we want to or not.

They said he was the first one off the court when the final buzzer sounded. Something to watch for sure.

This teams dead, I'd trade many of them.
I truly think this is as far as they go as a unit.

Its a domino effect. You take out our top scorer, then our defensive hub.....role playing shooters cant compensate for that. Its a delicate balance. Inuries suck so bad. Luck is what you need. With luck, Hakeem wins more chips than Jordan.

Regardless, it always feels like our core of shooters all get ice cold for too long whether it's all regular season (this year) or all playoffs (last year). I know every team that shoots a lot of 3s is streaky but these cold spells are our doom more than anything else.

ALL shooters are streaky. We need a revamp. Butler is 50 NBA years old. He plays physical he will get hurt. His role playing shooters can not compensate for him.

Yes but I've never seen people go from the best in the league to looking like they don't know how to shoot anymore. Everyone is streaky but these dudes can go 1-9 for like 20+ games in a row.

Duh, it's like people are magically forgetting what we have done for the past what 4 years. We made the finals and we did nothing but let a starter walk away. We get swept and our front office spend 180 mil on Lowry and Duncan  . We make it to the Easter finals and again let another starter walk away. This year we make it to the Finals..... rinse and repeat.

Convenient whipping boy. He’s one of our best draft picks ever and did just about everything he was asked to do. I think the guys up top like him but he’ll have to get sacrificed to get this team the #1 they desperately need.

Trade assets:
Lowry 29 million expiring
Dipo 10 million expiring
Robinson - thanks to Herro’s injury, we were able to showcase his skills on the playoffs and he produced
Martin - probably the most valuable trade piece, due to a favorable contract and what he brings off the bench. in my opinion if it nets us a superstar like Dame, then you include Martin, no regrets.

I dont think Herro is tradeable, his horrible contract and hand injury saved him another season in Miami. but if some team bites then ill be the happiest guy on this board..

If we get a star, we need to get a younger one to fit with Jimmy's inevitable decline. I've seen Dame and LeBron suggested on this boardand both of those guys are due to decline at any minute. Not that LeBron is even realistic anyways. Dame works but again I don't trust him to maintain his level of play even as soon as next season.
