Some trade idea where Brown gets teamed up with Mitchell in Cleveland and Garland with Tatum in Boston. Both teams can improve.

I know what you're saying but if we want our own Jokic, Sabonis is the closest thing or the next best thing. I would say he would be a better fit except he can't shoot 3s but he is a inside presence and a great passer with a high IQ.

Sabonis is closer to Faverani than Jokic. We need more athletic pop from our backup wings and/or big.

I just saw him being useless in a playoffs series. Couldn’t finish or shoot, terrible on defense too.

Fair enough. More of a regular season performer than a playoffs performer.

If the Celts were to trade JB because they won't give him the supermax, I think it's really possible the Celts will make Tatum's dream come true and that is to bring Bradley Beal to Boston.

If Pritchard hit a few threes down the stretch in the finals last year then those teams would find a role for him.

I don’t hold grudges I wish him well, but if you can’t hit the shots when it matters, how valuable are you?

I can’t imagine many teams will be banging on Max Strus door after his finals performance.

PP to Utah for their 29th pick..win win

I was thinking along that line, but not sure how it would work. Maybe get a third team involved.

In any case, Mitchell, Brown, and Mobely with what they have (plus Smart?) is really a good core.

For Boston, Garland (+ Allen?) for Brown is a good lateral move, losing some size and defense but getting a complimentary player to Tatum who can gets his own shot and move on and off the ball. He's only 23 with some real upside to get into another tier.

These trades make no sense, why would Cleveland want Brown?

Because he's a lot better than Green, Osman or Okoro.

Mitchell, Brown, Mobley + LeVert, Wade, Rubio, etc is a better balanced team than having the two point guards in Mitchell and Garland. They may be interested in a change after a disappointing series against NY. Not sure if they want Brown but I want Garland.

This. Don't wanna lose Brown, but the cavs are a solid wing away from taking a huge leap next season

The main reason many fans don't want to give JB a supermax, is because of the financial ramifications that would result from us have to pay a ton of $ and such a high % of the cap to just 2 players, since tatum will be supermax eligible next summer.

Since Beal is also on a supermax contract, trading JB for Beal would result in the same challenges..
Nothing wrong with having a different opinion - as long as it's done respectfully. It'd be lame if we all agreed on everything :)
