Honestly i prefer boxing to MMA, but politics and ducking have killed the sport.

... a long time ago too. We've had some nice boxers and rivalries pop up now and then but my problem - on top of the ones you mention - is too much clinching. Sometimes we have that in the UFC but not too often.

I used to catch it in Philadelphia back in the late 80s/early 90s. That was ECW before ECW existed.

I lived in Philadelphia during ECW's reign. I used to see Raven at Delilah's Gentlemen's Club all the time. Well, not all the time. But enough times.

Delilah's, known as Philly's "high class" strip club, was located not far from where I lived so I passed by it all the time ... much to my financial detriment.

I also met up with Ron Darling there one late afternoon on my way back home from court (I wasn't going back into work at that point). We ended up hanging out for awhile there. Then I took to a "more dirtier place" where the girls there rock and roll. He appreciated the audible.

The heavyweight division has entertained me a bit these days (i love the Gypsy King) and I'm always checking for my boy Shakur Stevenson but otherwise I've fallen out of love with things. It isn't like how it was in the 80s-90s when everyone would fight without ducking each other or promoters f*cking sh*t up. I grew up watching boxing on the steps of my dad's basement when his friends watched Sugar Ray, Marvelous, Hitman, Chavez, Duran and those boys going to work. Now that was boxing to me. Mike Tyson was a god to me when i was 8 years old.

The problem with The Blackjacks - aside from their shear power, experience, blood lineage, and general badassness, is that they looked and dressed like each other! That way, they could confuse the dumbass referee. That's tough to beat.

When I think of WWE and see 20 wrestlers crowded together outside on the floor and someone dives over the top rope and knocks them all down like bowling pins, I roll my eyes at how pathetic wrestling is today. Top to bottom, all the top wrestlers and all the middle bottom wrestlers in WWE and AEW, all slapping their leg on every punch and slap. It’s to the point where I can’t watch wrestling today. Sadly, it’s getting too phony. I really question the direction that the people that are in charge are taking wrestling.

I love Bret Hart man. He was a great performer and just a genuinely good dude, i think he paints nowadays in his old age. When his brother died i felt so bad for him.

I can't judge new age wrestling so i don't have an opinion, but when Bret was in his peak he was amazing. WrestleMania 13 was legendary, if you ever hear Stone Cold talk about Bret, he raves about him as a person.
