I think I still have dame over Beal regardless because we don’t even care about rookies like that anyways, we are always competing.

Are you putting that order in a way of what we are giving up combined with the skill sets?

Also do you think Riley can do a masterclass for Beal without giving up herro if you have Beal so high up?

Regardless though I say get whatever whale is available we can’t be sitting and waiting on decisions so if Beal is available take it.

I already did something to this shown below:
Mine would be Beal, Lillard, then Kyrie

This is what I am going to say about Bradley Beal VS Damien Lillard -
Beals only positive is his age he is younger than Damien Lillard, where you could at least play out his contract even with his NTC because his age gets you more prime years, although he is expensive he is still less than Lillard even if not by much. The NTC also helps Miami not having to end up losing as many assets from he trade to begin with.

When comparing players I always like to compare them no farther than 4 seasons because that usually a tell tale sign of recent production and pace they are still capable off even it tapers off slightly. The 5th season is usually a byproduct of upside from the previous 4.

Size:
Beal = 6'-4" <-BETTER
Lillard = 6'2"

Age:
Beal = 29 (turns 30 on June 28) <-BETTER
Lillard = 32 (turns 33 on July 15)

Games Played per season average:
Beal = 52
Lillard = 55 <-BETTER

Minutes Played per season average:
Beal = 35.33
Lillard = 36.5 <-BETTER

Points per game season average:
Beal = 27.05 , Per minute scoring values (1.306) <-BETTER
Lillard = 28.75,<-BETTER Per minute scoring values (1.269)

FG% per game season average:
Beal = 47.43 <-BETTER
Lillard = 44.48

3P% per game season average:
Beal = 34.18
Lillard = 37.18 <-BETTER

Rebound, Asst, Stl season average:
Beal = 4.4 , 5.6 , 1.0
Lillard = 4.4 , 7.5 , 0.9 <-BETTER

Overall: On Beal
- Younger than Lillard.
- Cheaper Contract.
- NTC which means could be had for less value in exchange.
- Beal has better measurables physically.
- Beal score more per minute played basis on the floor, and and their minutes played per game are rather close.
- Beal has a averages a better FG%, due mostly to his physical advantage and ability to get easier looks under the basket.

Overall: On Lillard
- More expensive contract.
- Will require more assets to get.
- Is smaller than Beal, which explains his lower FG% at the rim and below the three point line.
- Averages more game per season although rather close so minimal advantage there.
- Plays more minutes per game although rather close so minimal difference there.
- Shoots a better percentage from the range as far the three point line is concert.
- Has similar stats as far as rebounding and Steals to Beal, However the heavy separation is on Assist, is the better playmaker.

My order is in terms of most realistic.

I don't think so. I still view his as long depth on the cheap. He's essentially the 3rd backup SF to Martin with occasional small ball 4 work. He'll play when Butler sits.

Heismith will take over the Struss glue guy role from a 3&D player perspective with better defense and size but lesser shooting.
I think Struss is the guy that we let run off elsewhere, Vincent I think we keep since were probably either losing Lowry this year or next and need depth at the pg spot. Whomever we pick up in this draft may not get traded, infact I could see it either being another PF we can use to play off the bench or and take the development role of Jovic or replace Jovic if traded. The pick could end up being a PG if an only we go for trade where Lowry is attached and we get a big man coming back without pg depth in return.

I’ll need to see it in the summer league from Jovic, im not near as sold on him as the majority. I will say he made a big jump from summer league to preseason. Still very young

I think so, he’s being molded into a very good 3 and D player who can also slash. He’s going to be a damn solid role player over his career.

He had a lot of moments for us in these playoffs to the point people were getting irritated he wasn’t playing

He literally missed a chunk of the season due to back spasms that were the result of growing pains. He actually grew vertically this past year.

Keep him in the lab. This isn't some stick figure that will constantly be fighting being too thin. This is a Balkan beast that is still growing. He just needs to keep filling out his frame while maintaining athleticism.

We need him to get A LOT of burn next year and slowly expand his role. It starts with shooting and BBIQ

I am actually super excited for this draft, lots of moving pieces on a lot of teams that affect Miami's direction and or what they can go after. Also its a tell tale sign of where were headed based on the pick, do we keep do we sell and or we trade.

Example, moving down the draft selling our pick, means we looking at not having guarantied money locked up, also gives us more depth because were planning on losing multiple guys either through trades or just not extending ie Struss/Vincent.
a pick at Center spot tells me their looking for big man depth, and theres a posibility were not gonna have Love/Zeller one or both come back. A pick at PF similar to the center pick except we need a PF we can develope as a back if were planning on moving Jovic to the starting spot or perhaps trading Jovic.
A guard pick means for sure one of Lowry/Herro is going bye bye soon. a SF pick means Caleb martin is going bye bye as trade sweetener in a deal.

Return to Miami Heat
