Glad to see I’m not the only one who sees an all star in maxey. I absolutely see a stud in Maxey

It isn't about Maxey it's about the roster. Tucker was a mistake I said it at the time he had some good effort games but he ultimately is washed other than that Morey has made a bunch of great moves.

The problem is he was given a mess. It's going to be hard to make a move and improve the roster with the limited amount of assets. Really the only thing left the Sixers have if they won't move Maxey is the ability to trade Harris for a contract. People look at not looking acquiring Beal as a positive. Okay fine. I'll listen so what is the plan then?

Because if you can do better or bring in someone else great but if the plan is to just let Harris playout his last year and for his contract to expire sorry but that doesn't help us at all. It helps Josh Harris checkbook sure but as soon as Harris contract expires the money is gone.

Good to hear about Beal. Hope that's true. I'm getting depressed over here thinking about our only options as Beal, Derozan, CP3, etc. Just more mediocrity.

I need Morey to show me some creativity this offseason. Flip Harris' contract for a couple young, long, super athlete freaks to add some wing depth and lunacy on the defensive end (someone like Ben Simmons :D) and I'm OK with bringing back Harden and running like that.

With the new CBA it’s almost impossible to build a team with Beal on the current roster. I think it’s about flexibility and Maxeys potential is definitely a factor. Beal is also way to injury prone and on the decline

Things are coming together nicely. I'm happy to run it back with a better coach and Harden on a reasonable deal. Or if we find a useful trade for Tobias then go for it.

Aside from that our priority is to resign BBall. As for the other FAs I can take them or leave them.

Kinda agree. I think if we had Gordon as our PF, we would win the chip. Gordon defended Lebron/Jimmy Butler extremely well and only costs about 19 mil. Such a steal for Denver..

We don’t need another star. We need an athletic PF who can defend, be a lob threat, rebound and knock down shots when open. That’s a lot of ask tho and not sure if this kind of player is available.

Harris right now has the highest trade value he will ever have. This is a last year of his deal meaning a big expiring contract. The only thing from a trade is that if the Sixers decide to let it expire for cap relief for 2024 . Otherwise he will be gone by the deadline at the latest

It's a question of will we get better players by trading him, or letting him expire and using exceptions (or resigning our own guys) instead.

With the new Super Apron, it's effectively a hard cap so we can't just spend into oblivion like the Warriors have done recently.

I think it’s possible to get get a Siakam in return. Depends on future picks and assets attached to a potential deal. It also depends on Siakam asking the Raptors a trade to the Sixers by saying I’m not re-signing here or anywhere else next season when i am an unrestricted free agent.

You can also get a John Collins type as well

If we run it back, I need Morey to go out & get a lob catcher that can take the Tobi/PJ minutes. A vertical threat would do a lot to unlock some additional value from Harden & Maxey.

We’ll probably just need that to be Jalen McDaniels because it’s tough to find otherwise. I love BBall Paul but he’s treading water at best on offense because he can’t catch a lob.

I am glad we aren’t chasing stars but I also think our only move is to bring Harden back

I wanted to see what the creative option was and for us to run an actual offense

I don’t want Harden back

Hell yes, I would welcome John Collins onto this team with open arms. I’d be calling Atlanta to see if they’d have any interest in a Collins/Capela for Tobi/Melton deal.

Sounds like Maxey is untouchable which should come as welcomed news to many on here.

To be fair, I think untouchable & “wouldn’t trade for Beal” are two different things.

Paul Reed? lol. If he can shoot consistently, he's the answer for sure.

Aaron Gordon is a turrible shooter and just started at PF for the champs. Same with Draymond Green at PF for the champs last year.

We need to seriously consider starting BBall next to Embiid.
