No... if Miami tries to lowball Washington too much where Washington ends up saying no and keeps Beal, Beal doesn't want to be seen as the guy who wanted out and have to listen to boos the rest of his time in Washington.
Exactly....Beal is still playing the same games. Nothing has changed over the last few years to now.

Washington doesn’t have any leverage and should be happy even getting two picks with that massive contract, After that trade it could open up a trade for herro to get another player/depth/starter PF.
Exactly they have to two avenues accept the trade request to the team of choice with a package of choice approved by Beal or don't trade Beal and live with the results of a disgruntled star.
We need to remember we are not the only team on the table. It's not Beal saying I only want Miami, that seems to be a harsh reality check to some of these proposed deals. Beal will name his list of teams, then the Wiz will get take the best deal. That simple.

Does Beal want to be in Miami or not? Apparently, the answer is that he doesn't give a ****.

I've seen this movie before. NOTHING has changed in the last year.
People are getting their hopes up based on hope and prayer clickbait.
We are STILL in the same situation:
"IF washington decides to rebuild..."
"IF Beal asks out...."
