Again Dame and Beal are not the type that will say ONLY TRADE ME to X team. That's something that has been over looked by many here.

What else can they get for OG? You aren’t gonna get an all star and no more than like 2 picks
Masai not trading Anunoby for Herro plain and simple I don’t know what else to tell you. He’s a hard ass and he loves his Nigerian players and will ask for a lot. Trust he was thrilled to get Achuiwa for Lowry.
So you don’t think OG is an option?

It’s all a game of chess/poker.
You know the wizards can just keep Beal right?
Unlikely. They're in too deep. The Jazz could've just kept Donovan Mitchell too. The Nets with KD. A trade will happen. And unlike those other scenarios the player has full control on where he goes. And if Beal really wants to play in Miami with Bam that helps even more.
The 5reasons account says Miami won't wait on Dame. They'll trade for Beal now if they can. If the packages being reported are true, trading for him now allows for other moves to strengthen the roster. Waiting on Dame is an all in drain your assets type of trade.
The difference between this and the Spida and KD trades was the fact that they asked out…Beal didn’t. So no I don’t think it’s in too deep now.

Masai is not going to get more value than Herro and a pick for an expiring deal. Masai and be as "hard" as he wants but that's a lot of value for a guy who won't re-sign. he'd be really foolish. the bidding war will only ante up if OG agrees to an extension with the team offering valuable assets for him. He won't agree to just any old team.

How well did that work out for us last offseason.....
Negotiations don’t always work out… my point is that do you really know what is truth and what is not from these reports and speculations? All we get to see is the pawn pieces being moved around. These beat writers are just pushing info that is fed to them… trying to invoke panic and concern to drive the price up or down.
If I was Riley, and I have the Washington exec trying to drive up the price on Beal… which is a very expensive contract attached to a NTC… I would definitely work him right back and try to drive the price back down. Dangling Dame is no different than dangling other offers from other teams. Catch my drift? Who knows what is truth and what is a stretch of the truth to influence the price tag?

Nope. Not sure how the rumor got started. I know Bish loves him and threw his name out there but in no way Anunoby who’s a defensive stalwart gets traded for Herro who’s not. Anunoby also makes much less so what’s the point for the Raptors taking on 27 mil of Herro when they don’t even want to pay Trent Jr or Van Vleet

exactly, OG can’t be that expensive of a get. Does he think he’s worth 4 first round picks? Yeah, no.

According to unreliable sources, Beal has only waived his no trade clause for one team. The implication being that team is Miami. So what they will or won't do is up for debate.

??
Beal literally has a no trade clause for this very reason.

Saudades.

As i stated they are about to let Trent Jr and Van Vleet walk. They are not taking on Herro’s deal. They are better off trying to resign OG

Spida didn't ask to get traded either. He wasn't against the idea though. The Jazz decided a rebuild was what was best. And despite all their grandstanding about how they would keep him they eventually did the inevitable and traded him. It'll play out the same way here just on a faster timeline because the Wizards want off that deal and Beal has the NTC so he gets to talk to teams.

That won’t happen now, it’s gone too far
Not really, Beal isn’t even the one who asked to be traded
He asked to speak to teams and find a deal, he doesn’t want to be back now

They already turned down 3 picks. They can get 4 if they want, they wont be great picks but they can get 4. The Knicks and a few other teams have a ton of picks to play with.

Other teams will offer low cost talent if the time came to dealing him. Herro is not what they want

by the way, how cool is it that Gatorade brought back the iconic Be Like Mike commercial and had it narrated by Eminem? I always wondered why companies only really promote active athletes... they could easily still make MJ commercials, young kids watch youtube MJ stuff

there's never been a player that's fetched an insane haul who was about to be a FA other than maybe a superstar like Kawai but that's because that was a championship needling moving move and Toronto had enough after that it didn't gut their roster or mortgage their future. OG will get a decent little return. 2 picks max and a player like Herro -IF the team knows he's re-signing longterm
