I just don't get it -

How could be talking for Wizards for all this time and then not get it done?

1. If we didn't wantBeal, why bother

2. If we did want beal, why not offer them the same expirings the Suns offered, but with a slightly better sweetner (#18)

I just don't what this front office is doing

Dame won't do that. He is not a sob. He is not Zo and how Zo acted when we traded him to the raptors. Beal made the most sense since he was the easiest to get. We will never learn the whole truth but I wouldn't be surprised if Beal asked, will you spend to win, and Mickey was like naw, the Suns owner on the other hand puts his money where his mouth is and says yes. Thats something that will sway players to pick one team over another.

Was I excited at the possibility of adding Dame for literal peanuts? Definitely.

Was I upset we didn’t get him? A little disappointed because dame is uncertain and Beal was there for the taking for literally nothing but mainly got a good chuckle at all the media guys/insiders who were saying it was for sure Miami. Threw some shade at Rat Riley and went about my day because for me Dame had always been option 1.

Now Lillards mouthpiece Chris Haynes has tweeted we’re focused on Dame, the real prize of the offseason. It’s time for Pat to do his thing, if he misses out on Dame after passing up peanuts on the sure thing in Beal it’s time to step down.

Beal is tiers above Herro, dame is tiers above Beal. His skillset just so happens to be the perfect fit we need next to Jimmy and Bam as well as just his overall status as a player and his demeanor/goals.

Get it fuxking done Patrick!!!

He ain’t leaving Portland give it up we lost

Good news is that Lillard now has to ask himself if Port can beat Den and Phoenix

Suns CEO is Beal's agent's son.

I am a huge fan of Lillard and there was a reason I said Lillard will be a player available earlier this year. I didnt want to say his name because he is very flakey. And I am not confident the Blazers has a good reason to trade him to Miami. In fact, I wouldnt be surprised Lillard has already had his agent in private discuss a possible trade to Miami. It appears the draft will be Lillard deadline when he will or may not make a demand.

Now our whole offseason will depend on the unlikely possibility that Dame requests a trade and that we can somehow win that trade. Short of Jimmy straight up requesting Miami, we haven’t won a real trade in years.

We can’t even resign our own players without going over the tax apron. We going to be running with like 12 undeafted players next season.

If Beal wanted to be in Miami; he would have notified the wizards that he is only waiving his NTC for Miami. He didnt want to be in Miami, he lives in Venice Beach in the offseason which is a 6 hour drive from Phoenix. Maybe he also wanted Butler to call him up and suck his cock to get him in Miami, but we all know butler, he has a certain type of personality he gets along with. Liliard is a guy i can see Butler call to recruit. Not Beal.

I said it on this thread when someone asked, why would the wizards take on any package that doesnt have assets. Because they were looking to dump the salary. They dont care for the assets or first round picks, they wanted out of that contract by any means necessary, and wanted their cap cleared fromnit after 2024.

The wizards are not better or worse when Beal is on the floor. What is bad for them is having that salary that doesnt net them any playoff appearances, ticket sales or revenue continue to destroy them financially.

They wanted out of Beal out, but with his NTC they didnt have a choice on how to get him out; it was Bradley’s choice. What they did pray for is that it would be the Suns, because they know if it was Miami they would have to absorb Duncans or Herro’s contract for the next 3-4 years. With CP3 and Shamet, their number is off the books after this upcoming season.

Theyre going in full rebuild now. Kuzma is hitting free agency. Porzingis is probably going to be dealt as well.

That 11 FRP is too much. BKN can afford to add half of that and get Dame and trumps all offer. Excited for Jovic now.

We're not getting Lilard, forget that pipe. He won't ask out, and even he does - well get outbid. again.

Who else can we get for our picks combined with Herro/Duncan/Lowry/Dipo

We need to find Bam big man help. Watching Cody Zeller make game winning plays for other teams was just nuts.

Get me some players and trainem up for next years playoffs.

Not really. Herro ain't a problematic player. Its not the first season he's been on the trade block. He was in rumors last season and he didn't cause trouble in the locker room. He's been a pro. Heat's frustration with him has been work in the summer and building strength and his offseason distractions. So this isn't something to worry about

He was cleared to play in the finals, spo dressed him and didn't allow him to play. Now he's in rumors to go from Miami, Florida to Portland, Oregon. He walked off the court before the game was over. I'm not saying he isn't professional though. Just human.

He was cleared in game 5. He hadn't passed on to contact drills before then. He was clearly rushed and if it was 2-2, he wouldn't have been dressed. In the reports, it was mentioned there was some swelling. I wanted him to play but as it went on, it was clear he needed a couple more weeks. There was never any push back from Herro's camp that he could have played. This is a non issue, he was never close to coming back
And on the rumors, its like the 4th player he's been linked to trade rumors too. It isn't his 1st rodeo where his name is floated around. There was Harden , Mitchell, KD and now Beal. It hasn't been an issue in the past so I fail to see if it would be an issue now

Not only Dame requesting a trade he will have to be demonstrous about it. He will have to make a public scene, because the Blazers are gonna look for their best interest. Heat will have to unload a heap of draft picks.

Even if he throws a hissy fit and says “you either trade me to Miami or I won’t show up for training camp”, unlike Beal, he does not have a no trade clause. He could do all of that and still end up in Toronto.

This is basically like having the $2,000 you need to pay your rent and then saying “I’ll buy 2k worth of lotto tickets instead and I’ll pay the rent with the winnings”.

Why would BKN want Lillard is my question. Are they going to be a Finals level team because of Dame? Dude aint 26 anymore.
