If Beal chose phx over us nothing we can do really, if it wasn’t for the nyc he’d prob go to Miami

Either way I think we can find a better use of our draft capital and Lowry exp to make our team better, whether it’s dame or trading Lowry and picks for a pf and keeping herro

Beal asked will you pay the tax to win. One owner said yes, the other well we know. That will sway a player. If one doesnt put there money where their mouth is, it tells you all you need to know.

I get the marketing aspect but does his game help you win when he's not all that efficient and a negative on the defensive end?

He needs to be on a team with a true shot blocker down low. He's very much in the realm of a richer JJ Reddick. They both have the same 6'3 wingspan but Herro is a bit bigger and has more dribbling to his game. Get Herro on a team that can protect him with a player down low and he'll be fine.

Yeah. I still think getting a big man opens up our team so much more. You allow Bam to play the 4 where he can still do more of what he’s good at on defensive end and offensively he dominates almost every 4 in league outside of JJJ and Adams combo.

Herro gets another year and you bring back whoever is cheaper between Strus and Gabe potentially. It’s gotta be Gabe imo. Jovic and Highsmith and Cain should improve.

I dunno I can get over excited by Beal but man a big would really have me salivating.

Well, you don't have to worry about getting excited over Beal.

People need to adjust their expectations in the new cap era. Decent role players get $20 mill these days

The new cap era is pushing max and minimum players, the middle class may start disappearing.

The players association really fleeced the middle class of players.

Absolutely, most of the people running the players union are the top paid guys.

How many FRP were some of you giving for Beal?

Look at what he was traded for. If Dame asks for a yr ad e he won’t get much more back in return.

Dame Lillard interest in the Heat is gonna hold the Heat hostage in this draft. Which is gonna annoy me because the Heat will not make moves because of Lillard.

It's was obvious this was a Beal decision. Nothing Riles could do about this

There is possibly one thing, get the trade over as soon as possible before Phoenix decided to jump in. Other then that probably nothing he could do.

Lillard is a superstar and top tier 10 -15 NBA talent, Beal is not.

Absolutely unbelievable how badly our front office has botched the past few offseasons.

After the **** BKN pulled with their KD/Kyrie/Harden era, I would hope someone like Lillard wouldn't trust a FO like that.

Why should I think again when we just witnessed them look at Durant and miss out on literally everything else...

Because we now have actual assets and can trade them for better players than Beal. We did not miss out. I've never understood the fascination with Beal. I would have supported him, but it's such a bad move because of that contract, the limitations of the player, and the number of injuries he's accrued. I don't expect Phoenix to win anything...

What assets exactly do we have?
Expiring contracts?
FRPs that no one wants, because Heat don't tank and they are like #20+ picks?
Tyler Herro on a fair or even bad contract?

None of this gets anything, I'm shocked they decided to low ball and got outbid by a couple 2nd rounders and will just run it back with Butler/Bam + bunch of nobodies. Poor Jimmy, probably his last year and FO failed him again.

Just like last season. Wanting superstar talent and using leverage vs assets to get it.

Since when is Beal a winner? Come on. Our team is in 2 of the last four Finals and one shot away from three. That’s all I need to know.
