I see a lot of people throwing Jovic in trades. Based on what were seeing Miami is trying to stay away from including him. He is cheap, high upside PF next to Bam we can problably plug in starting this year. By the end of the season we might be seeing a young rising player, that cost very little, he has all the tools to be perfect complement to Bam.

Attainable scorers :

Lavine
Sexton
Siakam (don't like the fit)
Porziņgis (health scares me)
Bojan Bogdanovic (old)
Kevin Porter Jr. (crazy)
Christian Wood (soft)

All these guys can score, none are perfect. Most are attainable, if we can get them by using Duncan/Lowry/Dipo + pick/s, some are worth it if we get a good deal.

Personally, I LOVE the fit of Bam/Siakam

Miami's may have taken on Jovic as a project, much like they did w/ Bam. There's something about the kid. He cld end up being a special player. I like the cut of his jib.
If u don't want 2b here, the way things work, u don't like it, then don't b here. U have 2 stand on something. If Miami ain't standing on something, they become alot of these organizations trying 2 find their identity. This is the culture, bro -Wade

Most teams I'd say stay away from KPJ, Miami... they could start him at PG, give him the same green light Nunn/Vincent had and have a 20ppg guy on a Robinson contract. I believe Miami can get players under 20 mil a year scoring 20ppg and KPJ is one of those guys like Sexton too. I'd also roll the dice on Wood and Bojan on a high teens scorer but at PF.

I don't like paying top dollar for non proven scoring at the playoff level, I'd rather find "scorers" for much cheaper and expect Spoelstra to get the most out of them.

There's a situation that most Miami fans don't seem to get, players are usually BETTER in Miami under Miami's environment and coaching staff, so when looking at players on the team and players being looked at on another team, please consider the Miami bump they would get being in Miami or the drop off these current players may have if they left Miami.

Lavine, Sexton, Porter Jr.: Herro fills this role and I doubt they trade him
Christian Wood: Is a Free Agent, no way to get him, unless cap space is freed somehow
Siakam: Probably not going to be traded because Toronto is still not rebuilding
Bojan Bogdanovic: Getting him for Duncan + smth. would be great. Yes, he's old, but they can try to win next season and after his deal is expiring (also only 2m, if waived) and you get rid of the Duncan contract, I like this a lot
Porziņgis If he opts in he should be one of the main targets. The fit looks very good and having him on an expiring deal isn't bad either, because he likely will play for a new deal so can't afford to slack.

I'd love to add Bojan + KP for Duncan + Lowry/Oladipo and then go ahead resign Gabe/Strus/Love on reasonable deals and I would feel pretty good about their chances to come out of the East again.

He's a biggish PG and is in his prime atm 29/30 and has heaps of experience in big games/carrying a team in big moments. Unlike past Euroleague PG's coming over later he's athletic/strong enough to play in the NBA.

Jovic is being developed into a PG, not PF. I have spoken.

Why in the **** would the Pistons trade Bojan, who is an amazing fit for their team and they said no to offers of heavy net positive value last year, for Duncan?

I think At minimum they’d want pick 18 + a net value player (Caleb?) + maybe even a Highsmith type guy.

Oladipo to make $$ work?

Wood and or Bogdonovic make the most sense. I like the idea of KP but he’ll be wanting an extension here and not just play out his contract. His agent Jeff Schwartz has a great business relationship with us. Would need to pull off the Lowry and Robinson trade to get him in order to ease cap burdens unless Duncan is dumped. We don’t have a lot of picks as it is so probably going to take 18 and 2028 for them to even consider this.

If we can pull off Robinson, Lowry, and picks for Porzingis and Morris that would be fine by me. Just be ready for the Porzingis extension once he gets here. I’m sure Bartlestein will have the Wiz buyout Lowry so he can join the Suns.

Looks like Boston or Atlanta might be getting Ayton

Please be Boston.

Watch them trade Smart and Williams to the Suns for Ayton.

Would make Boston so much worse.

But would be great for the suns. That way you have Smart at PG to guard the opposing teams best player and have Williams just have to play defense, set screens and rebound.

Not sure what ATL would be trading I'd assume Capella and something else but nothing really works cap wise.

Yea that’s the type of deal to basically make the Suns unbeatable. Surely Boston wouldn’t do that for Ayton, he’s ass

Duncan would pretty much be the only way to do it, because there are no other contracts they could combine that would make sense. It's almost perfect contract match next season.
It would have to be Duncan + picks, pretty much so the trade here is draft capital for Bojan and Detriot taking on that Duncan contract.

I'm not saying this is happening or likely to happen. Infact, I don't see it happening, because there is no reason to take on Duncans contract if you are Detroit.

Some you just torture yourselves when you guys mention players represented by Klutch coming here. Going on 10 years strong without a peep of even an interview with a free agent Klutch client or drafted pick. Every single offseason for the last 10 years. Maybe this is the year!! Lol

Return to Miami Heat
