Got to give the Blazers credit, they made things more fun and interesting. They returned the favor of us trying to force Dame here. Good job.

If Dame really does end up with Miami. What would you say.

That Miami was able to make absolute magic happen

I know I’m in the minority and may get some heat, but I would do that deal in a second. Sorry but a cornered wildly desperate Portland team. We’ll take all your future picks for your troubles plus a potential franchise guy at #3. Feels like we’ve peaked with this iteration of the Heat and the contracts situation on this team is dire. This gives you an easy out and more

Thinking it for a second time. If you can turn Portland assets to Zion for Bam, you have to think about it.
But its a high risk high reward. Zion could easily be out of league in 2 seasons. But he's a generational type talent when healthy. Players like that come every few years.
If you get him and keep him healthy and focused for a decade, you will win a chip at some point. But with his habits, Miami lifestyle wise would be worse for him than NO

It sounds like Bam nor Herro are going anywhere, prepare to run it back with little to no upgrades.

Blazers did the right thing and now we are getting some heat. All is fair in love and war lol. The scary part is if the narrative continues and they can make a compelling case to rebuild and getting rid of our toxic assets, you know Mickey will be:

1) no bad contracts,
2) everyone on a rookie deal
3) and we can sell "potential and youth"

Im joking but we know Mickey and how he doesnt spend

That's a myth. Mickey has spent a hell of a lot of money over the years.

This is exactly what I expect although no Strus and a lot more Robinson.

Weird that Riley was shocked Miami got past Milwaukee... so to stand pat is stupid.

Oh well, 30-11 made the FO think they were good and found out they weren't and that created a lot of bad contracts.

Pat has to be very careful with his word play, cant throw Herro out to lions or talk about wanting to trade him. He has to show commitment until the last second.

5th?

Hmm..

Zo/Timmy - 1st
Wade/Shaq - 2nd
Wade/Lebron/Bosh - 3rd
????
Jimmy Butler/Bam - 5th

Only thing I can think of is... Wade/Butler/Odom is the other?

or Wade/Bosh/Dragic/Deng is the other?

Pat Riley: "Look, Lolita has been held captive for more than 50 years and she is about to be released. She's going back home. She's going back home to die. So, you know, sometimes you have to let go and move on."

Ira Winderman: "So, it sounds like the whale dreams are dead. Is that right?"

Pat Riley: "Ira, I'm not saying that. Where did I say that?"

Ira Winderman: "You just said Lolita--the whale--is going back home to die. It sounded like a metaphor."

Pat Riley: "No, no, no. I am just reporting on local news. Come on."

worried about size,

But if Scoot is there and you can get Scoot, Simons, Sharpe, 3, 23, and 3-4 more 1sts WHILE getting them to take Duncan’s contract would be too much to pass up.

Scoot
Herro/Simons
Jimmy/Sharpe
Martin

With Lowry, Jovic, 23, 18, + everything else to play with

Riley is calling Butler a superstar which is important because it was said ownership wouldn't go into the tax without a superstar, so it sounds like being in the tax is acceptable for management.
