Riley is ready to deal Lowry, Robinson, Oladipo and picks. Don’t underestimate the way he feels for Tyler Herro.

Oh god... did Riley just say running it back was an option..

"so.. running it back? Yes."

Running it back is an option for him.

what.

What? You're basically naming everyone Miami tried to get and didn't with Bam on the roster.

He can’t help what the FO is or isn’t willing to do or what tax the owner is or isn’t willing to pay.

2 anchors in Bam and Herro.... good luck.

This doesn't sound like the same Riley I remember a decade ago.

Yes as opposed to blowing it up.

Herro is an anchor now? I love him but....wow. Either Pat is selling him up heavy or and most likely, he's here to stay forever.

Scoot
Herro/Simons
Jimmy/Sharpe
Martin

With Lowry, Jovic, 23, 18, + everything else to play with

I mean the trade is not bad, your getting a future Superstar in Scoot.

However you have some drawbacks. You have to re structure, sell it to the fanbase the Jimmy window is closed, trade Jimmy to a contender if he wanted to. You definately have to do the trade on draft day, no way in hell im picking Miller at 3 in exchange for Bam if Hornets take Scoot. You hope Jommy would want out so you get Picks and young players. You have Scoot, Herro, PlayerfromJimmy trade, Jovic, Playerfrom jimmytrade starting.

Please, someone ask Riley about getting a starting PF and don't allow him to say Love or Jovic.

Riley lost his hunger. 2004 Riley trades half the team.

Might need to have Riley retire. He has no urgency to try and improve. He's fat and happy (metaphorically)

You guys realize that what Pat says is probably all nonsense and won’t make a difference. He is indirectly soothing the egos of the players that have been in all the rumors that now may have to wear a Heat uniform next year because the failed to complete trades. It’s all misdirection.

Is everyone absolutely certain Scoot Henderson isn't Dennis Smith Jr?

"We're not going to take a wrecking ball to a good team. Running it back? Yes. Doing something that can help you with that last step. Yes if it's a possibly and that there's an opportunity without setting you back while you're moving forward."

There you have it folks.

Exactly what any rational person would say.

What do you want him to say? "We just went to the Finals, but I think this roster is utter garbage"
