I think Black is a winning player. I believe he'll do whatever it takes to help the team. He's even stated before how ugly it was for athletes to be all about the money.

I would take Black because I think he can play PG full time.

I would take Amen over Ausar as well for the same reason. It feels like it's a bit easier to mitigate a lack of 3PT shooting when you're on the ball than when you're off the ball.

When you're off the ball and you can't shoot, you just get ignored and then it's 4 on 5.

No matter how bad of a shooter you are, you at least have to be defended when you have a live dribble. And guys like Giannis and Morant and others have figured out how to attack sagging defenders and get to the rim anyway.

Ideally that's what you'd be getting from Amen.

I could maybe see Black at 4, but the Rockets seem to like Amen a lot.

If he goes 4, the Magic would probably just pick Amen at 6, right?

If Amen is available at 6, I guess you have to take him and hope for the best.

nope no way i'm seeing what I can get to move back. That dude has 3 hitches in his shot and it starts at his waist, there's no fixing that uglyness.

I know dude... I'm trying to be positive here

If the rumors are true the draft starts at 5 as it seems like the top 4 is set with Wemby, Miller, Scoot, and Amen going in that order.

If I'm being honest, I'd likely just go with Hendricks if AB is off the board. I'm a big believer in Franz and Paolo so I'm good with going a bit safer than most.

Ausar Thompson and Gradey Dick would be a great draft but it also makes sense to take 1 guard and 1 BIG. I would be really excited though if they draft UCF boy Taylor Hendricks, I would cry happiness and be really excited.

Ausar and Gradey would be a great draft BUT SO WOULD:
Taylor Hendricks and Gradey
Ausar and Derrick Lively

Looks like Kevin Pelton's projects off WAR + Consensensus(espn draft board) and averages the two out now...wondering if Sengun at #1 may have changed his calculus.

WARP ONLY detailed below

With rumors of Utah trying to trade up to 5, it is possible he goes 5th if a deal gets done.

I like the player, I question the fit. I will die of laughter if we take him + pass on Gradey at 11. The tears...

Can we settle a debate?

Can Cam Whitmore play the 2 full time, or is he genuinely said to be more of a 4/3?

Anyone watched him enough to say?

I think it will be Whitmore/Hendricks at 6 and Dick at 11, if they are available and barring any trades.

I think Keyonte switched agents to set the ultimate smoke screen and Orlando drafts him.

Heard it here first.

4. Amen
5. Jarace
6. Black/Ausar
7. Ausar/Hendricks
8. Bufkin/Black
9. Cam/Coulibaly
10. Hendricks/Lively
11. Coulibaly/Lively/Hendricks

Yes, in my opinion, he has very good lateral quickness to keep SGs in front of him.

I am not a huge Cam fan, but I do think he will be a 20+ ppg score in the league, and play good man defense. It's hard to argue against that, an my only argument is for a more of all around team player.

IF we could trade back into the first, with pick 36 and a future pick, could end up with 1,2,3 in projected WARP. Cam, Podziemski, and Wallace.
