Why not? Trade every redeemable thing then I can hopefully fully detach from this "team".

You better not! & I mean it!

Say… if we could also get Markeif Morris, we could have a starting lineup of 3 Morris-es.

Which I am sure would bring us Morris wins -- especially if we could get Alanis Morrisette to sing the national anthem. She'd have to do it in Morris code of course....

Bring back Morris Almond, he's still younger than LeBron.

I hear CP3’s middle name is Morris, or something like that. This could work out after all. Throw back Thursday everyday… a team of Morris-es with Allanis Morris-ette blaring on the loudspeaker during breaks. I’m sold!

Maybe we can fleece Pat Riley into giving up #18 plus?

Would the Lakers give up #17 plus filler in a s&t for Kuzma?

It would not surprise me if during the course of the draft, CP3, Jones, Morris, Wright, Muscalla, Gallinari, and Gill get moved.
Of the 4 point guards we now have, I would think CP3 may have the least likelihood to be moved as he can be a mentor, and who know, maybe become a coach eventually.
Jones, Morris, and Wright, each have the potential to generate a low 1st round pick in the draft.
Muscalla and Gallinari can also be mentors. At $6.8M for 1 year, and $3.5M for 1 year respectively, they provide good value.

I think CP3 is in the Beal trade, going to the Clippers. We take back Marcus Morris+Amir Coffey+Batum+30th overall.

Still not a very good deal for us, taking back 30 million for 2024, but this FO has shown us their negotiating skills

I think Winger is really trying to create a massive TPE and CP3 is headed elsewhere in this trade.
But I dont follow your math. We would not be taking on 2024 salary.

On the bright side, we not only are loaded with movable expirings, but all of them except for CP3 (And maybe Shamet) offer surplus value.
Morris and Wright are obvious and been discussed, but Tyus is a legit Morris-plus-defense PG that any contender would love.

Gallinari is VERY interesting to me. He tore his ACL last September and is said to be healthy to start this year. Dawkins had him OKC 3 years ago where he put up a Per36 of 23 & 7 on 45/42/90 splits (TS of 61%) :o

I dont see him as much worse than say Harrison Barnes. If he is healthy, his skill set and contract will net us something worth while at the deadline.

Per John Hollinger:
Right now it's a 12.4M TPE from the Porzingis trade and a 5.3M TPE from the Beal trade, but you know Winger is scheming how to combine these two trades into one megadeal that produces a gigantic trade exception.

Y’all said for years that the Zards needed a FO that plays chess and not checkers. Well now we have one.

you're right, those are all expiring.

After the optics of getting totally fleeced for our two best players in the same week, I don't see us bringing back anything of value for those guys. CP3 honestly might end up getting bought out. Why would he want to join this clownshow? Tyus Jones is nothing more than a solid back up PG, just like Delon Wright, who was available for MLE money. Monte Morris was traded for KCP.

We might get another 2nd or two out of all of that at best? And we have another difficult situation coming if we don't move them. You can't start a season with Wright/Morris/CP3/Tyus at PG, and every team out there knows that.

my best guess as of now is a CP3 buyout, and Monte to the Clippers for 48. Expectations are extremely low.

Which contenders/aspiring contenders need PG depth?
- Timberwolves
- Clips
- Cavs
- Mavs (?) (I know they can just stagger the two starters)

This is exactly right.

Tyus in and of himself is a decent trade chip. But now that we have Tyus, Morris, and CP3, we have to move two of them, and everybody knows it. By having all of them at the same time, we devalued each of their trade values. Really astute work from the FO.

The Lakers would be a good landing spot for CP3, but I'm not sure our other PGs are a big enough upgrade over Russell or Schroeder to justify a trade. Maybe I'm overvaluing Schroeder?

I know a lot of Bucks fans would like to have another PG. I would personally love to have Tyus Jones, but I think Washington should keep him at least until the trade deadline. Some Bucks fans would love either of Morris and Wright; I'm more lukewarm on them personally.

If we couldn't even get a FRP for KP I don't think there's any chance we're getting #17 for Kuzma.
