We don't have that many picks.

We have a 1st rounder this year and a 1st rounder next year. And we're not allowed to trade both of them in the same NBA calendar year.

So one late 1st round pick + an injured Brogdon (who isn't gonna have much trade value after the Clippers backed out of the trade yesterday b/c they were scared of his injuries). That isn't gonna get us very much..

Prediction time:

This CBA is making waves across the league, and teams aren't going to want to pay good-but-not-great players big money unless they have to.

Hawks need a top tier wing, we could use an actual PG and bench wing/big man. I think the Hawks open up the checkbook for JB and some variation of Murray and Okungwu, or Hunter for JB happens. We pay Murray a good deal less than JB and this officially becomes Jayson Tatum's team.

We'll see!

the 2nd Apron stuff makes it hard to know who might even available. But I for one would love a top 10 draft prospect if it became available.

I would really like this. 2 high quality Role players may net better results than one way overpaid "star" player. I'd give them Grant as well. Then perhaps switch our 25th pick for their 14?

What? We own a 1st this year so we can trade it + 2025’s pick and 2029’s - 2027 is a swap option with San Antonio. Or we can trade 2024-2026-2028 + 2025 swap. And we have Golden State’s pick either way.

We have the chips to pay big. There isn’t a deal though.

Add Toppin to the list of potential targets in a Grant S&T deal.

Read on Twitter

So far the list is Toppin and Jae'Sean Tate.

So good luck paying JB the supermax then trying to trade him for equal value later on? :P

Dame I guess.
So few teams are in sell mode.

Dame, Garland, Murray / Trae, Ball, (if they pick Scoot?), SGA or Haliburton would be the ultimate dream but never going to happen (others probably aren't either)

(some may require Brown more than likely)

We have two next year, are own and GS top four protected.

Toppin wouldn't play that much here either.

IDK, he might.

Right now, we have a starting lineup of white/brown/tatum/KP/rob with brogdon and Al off the bench. Grant (or Hauser) is the 8th man. So if we do a S&T with grant, ideally you're getting a guy who could be a decent 8th man. I think Toppin or Tate could be that guy. We don't need them to do a whole lot, with how good our top 7 is.

we can trade 25 and gsw pick together too. we have all our picks so we won't violate 2 consecutive 1sts rule.

I dont think anyone is available that we'd want to pay who is worth 25/gsw/brogs together tho.

That's the question, isn't it?!?!?

Although it's hard to believe, they may actually draft someone one of these days, one never knows.

I could be wrong but 25, 2024 (2),26,28(swap),30 and years in between (swaps) we still own. I’m talking what’s the ideal all in major move you’d give up a lot of these for.

We're so used to Danny having so many extra picks (8 in one year), that it feels skimpy not having more than our share.

Warriors traded for CP3 so they'd still have a PG after they trade Curry to the Celtics. Light years ahead, baby!

What do y'all think the Rights to Juhann Begarin & Yam Madar would/could/should be?

Anyone who is that good that we would trade all of those picks away would be making a hell of a lot more than the $22.5 mil a year that Brogdon is making.

To get a star like that, it would just be a swap for JB, which likely ain't happening.
