Is he the guy that's injured and slipping due to that?

He's always had a rep as unmotivated. I don't think injuries are playing into his slip...

He also measured terrible, hard to see his role in the NBA as an undersized PF or an underskilled SF.

If Portland trades Simons for a pick too, the Blazers should trade Dame tonight.

and how can they do that - July 9 or 10 is the date he can be traded

That's only a few days after NBA free agency contracts can be finalized.

It'll be interesting if the Heat pick (18) or the Nets picks at 21,22 will end up going to
Portland as part of the package for Dame

Going to have to log out soon...my pick hopes:

1) Miller Lite (yes, I'm going with that if he comes to PDX)
2) Kris Murray
3) Podziemski

Just waiting for a Dame trade or Zion coming to PDX.

Doesn't necessarily mean either. Maybe anf is gone and we view Scoot as a marcus smart off the bench help sort of guy year 1 and 2. Supposedly he's defensively gifted

This exactly.

Pascal wants the super max and isn’t worth 3.
Zion apparently wasn’t on the block per ESPN, and even if he was it’s an unbelievable risk.

Who did we miss on w/ #3? What vet should we have traded for? I don’t get how anything went wrong tonight.

I will say Nate Jones, one of Dame's agents, has been very quiet tonight on twitter when I don't recall him being this way in previous drafts. But maybe I'm misremembering.

Even with Cam on the board I would go Leonard at 23.

Scoot and Miller would be an easy A+ draft for me.

Murray, Sensabaugh, and Leonard are still available. Do you take a flyer on Whitmore if he is still available?
