JJJ definitely has more offensive skills that can be developed and could potentially be a more reliable player off the bench for us.

What more can you ask for the 18th pick honestly.. i mean we struck gold with the production we were able to extract from strus, gabe, caleb and robinson.. if we can get a more multi dimensional efficient player in JJJ with the 18th pick, then we did very well.

He shot less then 32% from 3 in college his last year, that can be somewhat fixed over time.

Strus shot less than 32% in the postseason and 35% in the regular season so there is no dropoff in that department.

The Heat will definitely work on developing JJJ’s range

contract wrote:I'm not his biggest fan anymore, but Pat Riley made the Heat matter. Pat Riley put us on the map and made people down here care about basketball.

CP3 is an all time great and hasn't been able to win ****. John Stockton and Karl Malone were both all time greats and weren't able to win **** despite playing together. Simply being an all time great doesn't guarantee championships. Wade may have hit big shots and recruited some guys, but he didn't build the winning culture that allowed that to happen. That was Pat and it started before Wade got here.

Watching the draft they were talking about teams who don't have an established culture. Some of these teams have not sniffed a Con. Finals let alone NBA Finals in the last decade. You look @ teams such as Houston, Washington, Orlando, Portland etc. They have no real identity as a team & as individual players.

When Pat came in he set the foundation for the Culture many speak about today. The Disease Of Me, his school of thought, his motivational prowess, his old school, hard nosed approach. Riley's philosophical beliefs are immersed within this organization. The strict expectations/regiment, accountability, which he mentioned in his press conference stating it's something that is not prominent today. We still follow his blueprint & values in our Heat Code not just for players but permeates throughout the entire organization..

Wade got to eat because Riley set the table. Lebron the coward got to take the monkey off his back because the foundations were well laid & established by the time he wore a Heat jerz. We were able to survive what could have been disastrous nxt decade post-Ledouche frm Pat's decision making which sets him apart from the rest. Miami promotes breaking away from Herd-Mentality & reason why we do things differently. One of the main components why we have a world class organization filled with integrity & principalities.

Wade then was able to promoted Miami culture to Butler, whom as we know focus on discipline, hard work and accountability- everything Riley already built here. Spo, who chose learning over money, is a Pat Riley apprentice who continued his school of thought, you know...defense, family, competitiveness & nastiness. What Riley built, last seasons iteration of our roster represented in front of the world as an 8th seed making the NBA Finals. That's all Riley sh*t!

While most here wanted to trade & rid of everybody, including Spo & Riles, instead enjoyed a remarkable run made possible by the foundations, values, philosophies laid by Riley. He built this house you all sh*t on when you're displeased but happy to ride when things are going well. Yes no one is exempt from criticism but Riley has done far more good than bad for this organization. & like i said....if we win another Championship it will, again, be a direct result of the culture Riley built here & the decisions he's made, some of which are the same decisions you're scoffing at today.
If u don't want 2b here, the way things work, u don't like it, then don't b here. U have 2 stand on something. If Miami ain't standing on something, they become alot of these organizations trying 2 find their identity. This is the culture, bro -Wade

Sure there is, JJJ was shooting from the college 3, Strus... the NBA 3.

He shot 31.3%, 39.4%, 27.6%, and 31.7% from 3 in each of his 4 seasons ... for a college career average of 32.8%.

And despite the passing in that highlight video that was posted, he's was barely better than a 1:1 ast/TO ratio.

Probably someone to compete with Jovic for the 4 spot.

They took the 3 and have a lot of money to spend in free agency. Dame to the Heat continues to be a media hyped pipe dream.

You can't look at our non-moves and this pick and tell me you think our front office is up with the times.

It's like they're doing as little as possible, with the least amount of creativity possible.

They called his bluff so you better believe if they move him it's going to be for the best deal. Beal was probably the best player they could have gotten to pair up with Butler and Bam and once again, the FO looked past it to a player they probably couldn't afford. It happened last year and right after Butler was acquired when they could have had CP3 for low assets to have the space to chase Giannis as a FA. Miami's not making dumb trades but they're actively passing up moves to make this roster better because they want the top player which they probably can't afford.

Bad night to be a Heat fan.

Alot of teams did some smart moves to get better and add assets or players.

We reached for a 23YO senior, and went to sleep.
