Really dont mind tonight. Turned 25 into Walsh and 4 future seconds. The C's low key had no second rounders left to trade, and with the new CBA rules those cheap second round contracts are going to be important. Need to find some contributors there.

Walsh meanwhile is intriguing. 6'6 without shoes, 8'11 standing reach, 7'2 wingspan, great combine results athletically, will be 19 years old most of this coming season. Ya, he doesnt have much offensively but if he just learns to shoot even average from three he could have a Finney-Smith, Jae Crowder like 3+D career which the c's could really use. Guy has some upside.

Two more picks and TJD will have gone undrafted. Fingers crossed.

Only 3 picks left.

Like I said, if he goes undrafted, Brad needs to get on the phone right away with his agent.

TJD would be solid backup big man insurance for rob/al/KP.

Ok, I've spent an unhealthy amount of hours studying this draft class and I've never heard of that Tarik guy lol.

Watch him turn into the next Jokic haha.

The 2024 GSW pick could be huge.

With Poole now gone, GSW might miss the playoffs.

It was. Every pick was our pick at some point or another.

Going to be interesting what picks exactly Boston got. DET doesn't have their 24' or 26' seconds but has what projects to be Washingtons 24' and 25' seconds as well as three other seconds in 26'/27' from various teams. SAC has all its own seconds, 24' and 28' DAL seconds and a 25' POR second to trade. ATL doesn't have really any of its own seconds to trade but has some farther out from GSW and LAC.

Really bad draft night, unless Walsh turns into something more than a role player. There were some good players on the board at 25. Celtics don't want to spend money on a 1st, thanks Brown. I liked Sheppard, Max Lewis, Colby Jones and James Nnji.

With the 39th, we could have gotten Jordan Miller or TJD.

Maybe Brad turns some of his 2nd round picks in for a trade in the next coming weeks.

Undrafted players:

1. Adama Sanogo
2. Drew Peterson
3. Oscar Tshiebwe
4. Drew Timme
5. Tosan Evbuomwan
6. Colin Castleton
7. Jacob Toppin
8. Joey Hauser

I'm sure I'm missing a few.

Get Sanogo and Peterson Brad.

Tosan Evbuomwan is an interesting player too. Drew Timme as well. He might figure out a way of stick on a team and adjusting to the NBA game if given the chance.

Updated:

https://www.masslive.com/celtics/2023/06/why-celtics-made-four-trades-in-2023-nba-draft.html
* Celtics trade No. 25 to Pistons for No. 31 pick and two future second round picks

* Celtics trade No. 31 to Hornets for No. 34 and No. 39 picks

* Celtics trade No. 34 pick to Kings for No. 38 and a future second round pick

* Celtics select Jordan Walsh at No. 38 and keep the pick

* Celtics trade No. 39 pick to the Hawks for a future second round pick....

The Celtics addressed this shortfall by making four trades that turned into the No. 38 overall pick in Walsh and four future second-round picks that completely restock their draft cabinet.

Nothing is given."
