That team simply doesn't get you number 18 some other moves need to happen.
Unicorn, timelord,Brogdon all injury prone so I say bubble wrap them until playoffs.
Horford looked gassed this year in playoffs so save him too. Pritchard wants to be traded.
I don't like can't will hopefully he's out of here.
Hauser had plenty opportunity to show out and is slow and spotty.
Kornet is worthless couldn't guard a Roomba
Davison is intriguing but tiny
Champagne idk
Walsh comes in with atrocious shooting numbers so 50/50 if he even gets on the court.
Maybe we trade can't will and pp to get some real pieces on that bench

I think just once — Vucevic did it

But Walsh will be the first to add FMVP and also ASGMVP

Nope, it's actually never happened.

Heartless is right, the Jays are going to try to go through Walsh, he'll be tested by some of the best out of the gate! Can't wait! I hope he at least hangs with them a few times, that will give more of a chance to be rostered. If he isn't put off and keeps fighting the jays, he's going to be fine! I hope he sticks with both of them like glue, make buddies with both, because no one can tell me you'll find harder workers! He needs to learn from the Jays in every way. (don't be funny, because loose left JB can show what not to do in that case )

He was ranked 46th so I don't think so after looking at his stats which are horrible I honestly don't think we've ever drafted a guy with worse stats ever I'm trying to think of one and can't.

What's so horrible about his stats? Per minute, I'd say they are par for the course for a younger freshman with a future in the NBA.

Granted, his rebounding numbers and foul efficiency are kind of poor relative to his length, athleticism, and rep.

24 mpg 7.1ppg 3.9rpg 0 apg lots of fouls .28 from 3
Only stat he had good was steals per game. That alot of improvement that he has to do. And again I'm struggling to see anyone we ever drafted with worse stats.

Maybe try watching him play instead of just looking at stats?
Nothing wrong with having a different opinion - as long as it's done respectfully. It'd be lame if we all agreed on everything :)

So he could be lying about his defense then essentially I don't care I don't see him making a difference this year at all. It could have been any second rounder and I would have been meh at least it wasn't another guard. I'm more concerned about that bench now that Brogdon is hurt and apparently can't sign can't will legit can't will was 9th best on our roster and he is 7th now. Pritchard wants out but we kind of need him while Brogdon is down. ( Hauser, champagnei, kornet are all garbage so ) and even with poor stats I'd put walsh ahead of all them. So are bench looks like injured Brogdon, no money to resign can't will, I want to be traded Pritchard, then JD, walsh, Hauser, champagnei, kornet. Are you ok with that bench?

This is a longer term 2 or 3 year play based on the fact that his shooting stroke looks good (even though he misses most of them lol) and he’s an absolute menace defensively. They’re banking on his size/athleticism/defense translating, and I assume all of the effort into his development will go into dialing in his shooting stroke.

A 6’-9” 19 year old athlete with a 7’-2” wingspan and an incredibly impressive motor/defensive skill set will be MASSIVE for the Celtics in a few years on a Hauser-level 4 year deal when all the extensions start piling up IF (and it’s a big if) all he does is add a reliable catch and shoot 3 point shot. If he doesn’t, we’ve got an extra 4 shots after all the movement last not and he’ll never see an NBA contract.

Grant Williams went from a non-shooter to a lethal one. If the same happens with Walsh, great. If not, it was worth the gamble because the dude is truly a monster on the defensive side of the ball.

I don't consider it negative I consider it reality we better not be done tweaking the roster the bench is in poor shape for reliability. Walsh and JD are worth trying to see more but I think Hauser doesn't have much more upside. And kornet is garbage but he is cheap garbage so ok and champagnei doesn't seem legit to me. Brogdon health issues and can't will we can't sign so yeah I'm nervous about the bench.and then add in Pritchard who's asked for trade pesky but tiny. Griffin good version of haslem but playing days are gone.
