Change his role a bit to more ball handling, and I think he can be really effective. The real problem is he is made of glass just like Rob. It's really hard to rely on a player like that. We babied his minutes all season long and he still got hurt at the worst possible time, freak injury or not. If I'm the C's, I treat him like a valuable asset and look for value. I'm sure that's what Brad will do.
I wonder what the package of Brogodn + PP + next year's picks (2FRPs, 2SRPs) can get you
Nothing. I dont think there's a trade partner out there that we can work with unless we are trading Brown also.
And including PP leaves us with no PGs other than White who is a make believe PG.
Brogdon will only go if we believe someone like the hawks will bite and offer the non Tray PG they own. A year ago I'd be all over this now i dont know. And I'm guessing we're not seeing that as an improvement.
There's little value in terms of good PGs out there unless you are willing to trade Brown. In that case you're targeting Trae perhaps? Donovan ?
The Jazz have Sexton but is he a better facilitator than either Brogdon or White ? Not really.
I have a feeling our PG rotation is what it is and the roster wont change much. In this case PP is gonna get some playing time this year.
In terms of descending salaries -
Curry 50m - no go
Dame 47m - no chance stupid contract
Trae 43m - only if brown or a combo of brogdon/al/RW GO
Simons 37m -
Jrue 34m - probably pointless
Ja 34m - no chance he is moved
Garland 34m - no chance he is moved
Murray 33m - literally no chance
SGA 33m - untouchable and we have nothing to offer
Fox 32m - he isn't being moved
CP - traded
Fat Smart - pointless and way to aged
Brunson 26m - knicks would say no not enough value from our end
Conley 26m - too old
Rozier 23m - not better than what we have
Brogdon 22m
Ball 20m - he wont play for another year
