BTW... Bouknight is still in his 2nd year.... He can still prove em all wrong!!!!

Nah... you can have this as another receipt in my dislike for Bouknight  Never go with low IQ, offense-only combo guards.

On another note, I wanted Jabari over Paolo. Sengun over Franz.

I was slightly leaning Okafor over Howard, RJ over Cole...

With that said, its too early to tell for Bouknight. I can call him a bust only after 2 more seasons of non improvement.

he can, but he is definitely not helping himself

Yeah.. i know.. although... 2023-24 Bouknight redemption tour!!!

I kinda think he needs to be in another team. The knuckleheads on his team plus their owner isnt really helping...

totally believe development is partially on the player, partially on the team and many situations are not good for development. i would say here, roster changes need to happen to really give Black a chance to develop

Absolutely too early to call Bouk a bust but it’s not too early to say Franz > Bouk was the right call.

I’m not saying you or anyone else is arguing otherwise but I’m shoving this in faces every chance I can get.

I myself would have selected Dick > Jett and was very surprised and even angry in the moment about Franz. So I’m giving people the benefit of the doubt and giving these kids a chance.

Of course it's the right time to say Franz> Bouk because I can say that for now, it is looking like Franz > all the other 21 draft

Jake Fischer mentions Max Strus as a target for Orlando. It's the 2nd time in as many weeks where I've seen Strus linked to Orlando.

Signing Barnes could hurt other leading Indiana targets, such as Williams and Heat swingman Max Strus, sources said, who could also both be in play for Orlando and Detroit, depending on what the Pistons achieve.

Where does Struss fit in our rotation?

I think he replaces a PG if we flip one for a front court player. Could also replace Gary as a slightly cheaper option.

It makes sense, with interesting implications. Especially the SF backup role, as that would imply Jett is squarely in the shooting guard group.

Bit baffling, still bags for simple question: why not trade 11 pick for proven player that is upgrade over Garry Harris when it's very obvious it will be next to impossible to give 11th pick any serious PT if he isn't center?

Maybe nothing was out there. I certainly didn’t see a good option. It’s no secret I think like every team except like the Wizards maybe Bulls want to be good. A lot of teams also owe picks which means they are forced to compete. I think that results in teams overvaluing there current players which is why we saw like limited trades and no lottery picks being moved for players.
Fine print disclaimer for Fultz:
I am high on Markelle Fultz. Yes I understand he is not perfect and needs to shoot more and better and turn the ball over less. I would really like to see him play one more year… and I did and he sucks time to move on.

I am generally pro front office but Christ if you bring in a veteran 2/3 now without trading some guys out that is dumb. We don’t leak **** so we might have had feelers out to Strus if the draft went a different way. Weltman has stressed a pathway for rookies to play so I think after draft it’s dead. If we add vets I would really hope it’s a backup 5 or guy who can backup Paolo. If we find a trade partner for Anthony or Suggs then fine.

I will be really annoyed if we signed Strus with all this talk about positional size and we get a 6’5” 2/3 would rather just keep Harris. He shoots 40% on good defense
