Eh. Maybe. But there were many times last season where we had no rim protector on the floor. Rob missed over half the season and played low mins even when healthy.
Obviously adding KP helps, but he is also injury prone. There will be times when neither of them is on the floor.
Also, Brogdon's defense last season not only hurt us when he got beat off the dribble, but also just in terms of leaving shooters open. Having a rim protector doesn't help that. We can have the best rim protector in the world, but if Brogdon is too slow to react, not quick enough sliding his feet out on the perimeter, doesn't bust his tail enough defending out on the perimeter, we'll continue to give up open looks from 3. How many times last season did we all yell at our TV screens "no! Why did we leave that shooter so open?!" It was often times Brogdon's fault..sometimes JB..this especially killed us during the MIami series, when MIami shot the lights out to beat us.
