This is waaaaaayyyyy bigger than Doc lol. No one wants to really play in Philly it seems. I don't think many dudes want to play for a "Super Team" in a cold weather city, first of all.

Second, Philly has been a sh*t show for over 10 years now. They actually tried to rebrand tanking and call it "The Process." This organization has been the face of purposely sucking for an entire NBA generation.

The Thunder, Rockets, Magic, Hornets, Spurs, Jazz have all willfully tanked, and have done it just as bad if not worse than the Sixers. The Thunder the worst of them all. Not a peep from Adam Silver.

Difference is, Sixers fans wanted Harden gone, Net's didn't. Sixers still have Embiid and Maxey.

can we really trust embiids health at all. The guy is 300 pounds and doctors thought it was smart to advise him to fall on the ground to avoid knee ligament injuries. 82 games sheesh, thats a lot of weight constantly hitting the hardwood, and embiid aint getting any younger

Clearly, you have nothing to back up what you are insinuating.

Take all context out, and the entire history, of the poverty franchise the Sixers are. They have done the worst job possible putting well fitting pieces around Embiid, unlike say, the Nuggets have with Jokic.

Harden through 58 games: 28/8/14 per 100 on 44/38/87 splits, 5.4 BPM, .188 WS/48, 4.0 VORP. Team record with him: 39-19 (0.672), team record without him: 15-9 (0.625)

What is Sacramento's record without Haliburton? What are the Nets and Rockets records without Harden? What is Harden's career record? What is Haliburton's career record? Again, the Sixers have championship goals, Haliburton can't even get you to the playoffs, yet...

Haliburton left a team that got an All-Star in return for him. Harden left a team that immediately went into a rebuild and another that got practically nothing in return for him. Hardly comparable.

Also, comparing their records makes no sense. Harden was 32 at the time he was traded, Haliburton was 21. Morey bet on Harden's experience when he should've bet on Haliburton's upside.

I said to compare their CAREER records. Haliburton is a career loser to date. Sacramento has improved without Haliburton.

Clippers will make off like bandits if they get Harden for Kawhi especially, its like getting Harden for nothing.... as that's what Kawhi has become....

He just won the MVP, and if it weren't for the Nets intentionally trying to hurt him on every play, he wouldn't have been injured. The last two post seasons, his injuries have been caused by players, or has involved a player felling him intentional or unintentional. But yes, lets call him injury prone.

He is a borderline all star at this point, and he will be 34 when the season starts. I don't really know what his plan is here. Obviously he wants to get paid, and that's why we heard all those fake rumors about Houston: he was desperate to get the sixers fold, but they were smarter than that.

more like the owners and the nba are colluding againist harden, the problem is they cant completely kaepernick harden without it looking fishy as hell. He is still among the top guards in player impact estimate, and raptor. Despite having a much lower usage rate than most other star guardsin the league, harden just posted his 4th season with 20/10/5 on at least 60% true shooting( most all time), only other guard to do it at all was magic johnson who did it 3x. The nfl had this issue when kaepernick sued them, kaepernick was still good enough of an player to were a judge ruled that it was collusion by owners for him not to be on a roster in the nfl. Harden this past season was much better than keapernick was in the nfl, and basketball reference thought highly enough of harden to place him top 5 in their mvp tracker. So harden will get paid if he has another season like he had in 2023 with the sixers, or a legal fight will ensue

Not a kid, and I really hope I was joking but harden has been defamed by tv networks despite being one of the best players in the league. Players according to the cba get paid based on regular season performance( the playoffs are defined in the cba as a bonus tournament) it’s why Zach lavine and Bradley Beal were able to get supermax contracts despite not being winning players. James harden has never missed the playoffs in his career and continues to post incredible regular season numbers. It may not be top 5 numbers anymore but his numbers historically are worthy of a max. And a judge would definitely rule in his favor. James harden is not Russell Westbrook who is a net negative. Harden is still a force in this league and nba voters robbing him of all star teams and all nba selections will do nothing to change that fact. He’s gonna pass Kobe in career win shares and all time value over replacement real soon as finish behind Jordan

They thought they had a chance with him.

And to be fair, if Embiid didn't get injured again, they may have gone further than they did?

With Haliburton (very good player, not sure if he has star potential), don't know where they would be now

He's so mentally weak. Good luck to the next team he quits on.
