I understand picking up some veterans to support all that young talent on the team, But going all in for 2 players who will barely put them in the playoffs is horrible management..

Not to mention, it may stunt the growth of all the players that are going to the bench in favor of two players Who may make the chemistry issue even worse...

But who are they taking minutes from? KPJ isn’t really a point guard, Thompson isn’t going to be ready.. Brooks will take minutes from Tate, who’s a roleplayer, and maybe KMJ, who they want to move..

It’s not what I’d do but they’re going to be playing their young guys in more close games and less garbage time, FVV can run enough of an offense to show them the ropes - both guys should be moveable, or they’re a ready-made supporting cast if they find a win-now trade for a star.

FVV and Brooks are guards...Houston's starting guards are KPJ and Green..they will both lose PT...

Not to mention the rockets just drafted a PG with the 4th pick (Amen) and drafted a PG in the 1st round in last year's draft (Tyty Washington), who put up some crazy numbers in the g league this past season.
Nothing wrong with having a different opinion - as long as it's done respectfully. It'd be lame if we all agreed on everything :)

He'll lose in the second round as usual.

Brad trading today is too predictable. But will he make one in the next week? Yes

I heard Celtics made QO to JD Davidson but what about Kabengele? Is he a FA or RFA?
"I think the criticism's stupid," Stevens said. "So I don't care. I'm with Jaylen (Brown) on that. Those two had achieved more than most 25 and 26 year olds ever had. I'd rather be in the mix and have my guts ripped out than suck."

Him requesting a trade is all but a certainty at this stage, but it could still be a year or two.

He got the MVP he is gonna want a real shot at a ring. Unless the Sixers swing a shockingly good return for Harden, that's unlikely in Philly in the near future.

Don't think the Celtics would ever be an option though.

Knicks saving their nickels for a big star rings a bell here.

I don’t expect anything big from the Celtics today. They already made their big deal, now it’s just fine tuning the rest. Doesn’t mean we can’t dream about something big though. So what crazy Brogdon trade is happening today? Lol

Unless Brogdon gets traded today there won’t be that much cap savings unless it’s a team with cap space

No QO so he's UFA, not that it really matters.

Wonder what the Pelicans' plan is. They're looking to trade Valanciunas. They're letting Hayes and Hernangomez walk as free agents. Just gonna go with no center?

Zion as a small ball 5?

Valanciunas is too expensive, but Hayes and Willy could be decent options for a 4th big for us..

They took him out even before the KAT trade happened.
