Ok, new plan.
-Let Grant Walk. Or do a S&T where we get draft compensation/TPE
-Sign Trey Lyles to TPMLE. Have him play the Grant role
-Warriors losing Divencenzo to the knicks. They were interested in Pritchard before. Plus they lost another shooter (poole) and replaced him with a table setter PG, meaning they have a need for another guard who can shoot. We trade Pritchard to GS for draft compensation or $4 mil TPE
-Now that we saved some money with those above transactions, we go to washington, flip 2 2nd round picks (and Champagnie) for either Delon Wright or Monte Morris. Which one do we want? Give me the one who's a better playmaker. We need playmaking. That's Morris - he's a pesky defender, too.
-Sign Javonte to veteran's minimum. He's Tatum's close friend. He knows our other guys, too. Unselfish player. He'll move the ball, he'll get out in transition so we can play faster, get some easy buckets on the break. Hustle, bring energy, play D, hit the occasional spot up 3.
Starters: Tatum, Brown, KP, White and either rob or al (might actually go Al. I'm just not sure if Rob can handle starter's mins and stay healthy. Yes, Al is 37 but keeps himself in great shape, never gets hurt, LeBron played big mins last season starting at age 38 so I don't see why Al can't start for 1 more year)
Bench: Brogdon, Rob (or Al), Lyles, Morris, Green, Hauser, Kornet, Griffin, JD, Walsh
That's a stacked team, man. Deep, talented. Pieces that fit together. 65 wins and a championship.
Nothing wrong with having a different opinion - as long as it's done respectfully. It'd be lame if we all agreed on everything
