Yurtseven is skilled but defensively is scheme limited because of really slow feet. He doesn't fit our new direction.
Nathan Knight is a perfect fit for what Griffin wants to do.

I just don't think he's that good and I'm not really a believer in his shooting potential (22% career 3 and 64% career from the line). There's better fits out there.
I mean I can understand playing a vet over a second year player, especially in the playoffs. We NEED another Center. I’d love to add Yurtseven and Jontay Porter and let them duke it out all season to see who emerges as the heir apparent. I really don’t see anyone else out there that is worth throwing money at. Who are you thinking?

If we can get him for minimum, great. I’m actually surprised that we haven’t been able to find a young center to be the guy that Lopez takes under his wing. The TPMLE is only $5mil I believe. Not sure who the best player is on the market that will be willing to sign for that. My thought is Terence Davis is the most complete player that is still young and is a good fit that we might have a shot at. PG and Center have been a glaring need for a few seasons but I don’t see a FA that fits the TPMLE aside from maybe Dennis Smith Jr

I think in this market $5 mil will get us a pretty solid vet and I would hope it’ll be a wing or guard (though we could obviously flip Portis for the help there that we need and then create a need for another big).
If Brook comes back though I’d prefer to fill out the bigs rotation with the minimum.

Would love Jontay to develop into something useful and maybe he's a potential two-way guy if you convert Moore or Green to a standard contract. Otherwise:
Flier types I'd prefer:
Jay Huff
Chimezie Metu
Wenyen Gabriel
Darius Bazley
Dominick Barlow
"Break glass in case of emergency" vets:
Dario Saric
Dwight Powell
Kaminsky!
Gorgui Dieng
"We know you suck and/or are old and cooked, but maybe you can still give us 10-15 minutes" vets:
Blake Griffin
Dewayne Dedmon
Bring back Meyers Leonard?

This is CBS Sports latest NBA Free Agent rankings.
https://www.cbssports.com/nba/news/nba-free-agency-rankings-top-30-players-available-as-kyrie-irving-takes-top-spot-with-james-harden-opting-in/
I was curious, if Bobby and Grayson were FA's, where would they land on this list?

Dealing with people who exhibit the "smartest person in the room" syndrome can be a challenge. One approach is to listen their opinion while also encouraging open-mindedness. It's important to create an environment where all voices are valued.

We’ve had rumored interest in oubre in the past, but there’s no way he would come here on a 5m contract, right?

Yup definitely a concern and hard to say what progress he’s made without bringing him in for a workout. Knight is decent but I’d prefer more size than 6’8” 230lbs

Just saw that Jalen McDaniels is a UFA. His Philly run wasn't he best, but he was having a solid season in Charlotte prior to the trade. I'd definitely give him a look.

We get 3 two way contracts this year and I think we have one still open probably hedging on which way to go with AJ Green. I’d love to grab Porter on a two way or on the minimum. I’m assuming if we trade Allen then Green gets a regular contract, if not then two way for another season.
Isn’t Huff on a two way with the Wizards? Wenyen is more of a PF, same with Bazley. Bazley has zero BBIQ, do not want.
Saric would be a good get, made $9mil last year though. Kaminsky and Dieng, eh temporary band aids with serious limitations.

Hopefully we can soon start debating whatever contracts Krhis and Brook get so we can move on from debating all of these awful guys like Fall and Yurt. Dog days of summer indeed.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Brook is 35 years old, we NEED another big. Hopefully Porter on the minimum but even he is an injury risk.

Lindy Waters would be a very nice pickup, particularly after we trade Grayson.

If the Bucks use the TPMLE there are quite a few guys I'd like to target
Shake Milton
Josh Richardson
Thomas Bryant
Malik Beasley
Taurean Prince
Kelly Oubre
Keita Bates-Diop
Jalen McDaniels
Basically athletic guys, who can hit 3s, & are youngish

I really like Gabriel. Good size and length, plays his butt off, 14/10/1 per 36 with 65% FG%.
I took a peak at the Laker board, sounds like they can and will give him a raise to 3 million per year, so I don't think we can get him unfortunately.
