I hope his second year is a team option.

Okay, that's harmless.
11/18/2017 - I have officially disowned Nikola Vucevic and branded him a loser.

- Skal Labissiere was my guy in 2016 pre-trade. Whoops, but I still believe.
- Malik Monk was my guy in 2017. Whoops(?)
- Mo Bamba was my guy in 2018. TBD.

Excellent deal for us. Forward that can shoot on 1+1 team option
Fine print disclaimer for Fultz:
I am high on Markelle Fultz. Yes I understand he is not perfect and needs to shoot more and better and turn the ball over less. I would really like to see him play one more year… and I did and he sucks time to move on.

I mean its really a 1 year deal so not a huge deal but I'm not the biggest fan when someone like Gabe Vincent is getting 3 33 mill. And b brown is getting 3 45 mill. I get there guards but this just keeps up with my thinking why we didn't draft for forwards and sign guards in free agency...

Especially considering he was on a vet minimum last season for Milwaukee.

Good move. Not only because of his shooting, he'd be our best pick and roll ballhandler unless Black is really good at this from the start, which is rare for rookies.

At $11M, he's still very much gonna be in the rotation.

And also he should.

Team Option... its like clockwork with us. Its qs expected as drafting Mr.Cash Considerations in the 2nd round for us.

Nice signing. He was useful in fantasy basketball when healthy. Should help us across the board. Bottom line. He can play smart basketball so this is cool. No long term string attached.

Great pick up, solid vet, great shooting and spacing, exactly what we need in the rotation
I still believe in Magic! Welcome to the Franz & Paolo era

I’m a fan of this move. Franz has no business playing in the second unit. 2 year contract is perfect.

Of course, until February. I assume he got that contract because of 90% cap rule, not because of his value, but i don't know how does it work, and what happens if they are under 90%.

They don’t get the tax sharing distribution money

Seems like the perfect deal and fit for us to support the transition from a rebuilding to a playoff team. High IQ veteran player, lots of playoff experience and always appeared to be a good teammate. I like the signing.

I've wanted this guy for a long time. Great pick up at a solid price.
