Khris and Brook back is huge news. I’m assuming we have a good shot at Jae too. Glad to hear we are in on Davis. I’m assuming that the holding pattern is around Harden and trying to get in on the moving assets.

Happy for Jevon and Jingles

Bummed on the Celtics getting Brissett, good nail defender that plays hard. I’m assuming the Pacers got Toppin for peanuts.

Curious about Ayo. Bulls have enough space to bring him back at anything that we could afford but why would they at this point?

Hopefully Grayson + Pat are on the move for an upgrade. Then grab a young Guard at the minimum, and a young center. Jay Huff would be very cool.
Shoot, Move, and Communicate...

Spoiler:

Malik Beasley
Jalen McDaniels
Mo harkless
Derrick Jones
Terrence Davis
Lonnie walker
Cory Joseph

Thanks for discussing

Beasley is athletic and can be a streaky shooter but struggles defensively. He’s a good stats on a bad team guy.

McDaniels would be a good add if we traded Bobby. He has struggled with consistency. I’m assuming that we can’t afford him otherwise.

Harkless shot never developed, kind of assuming he is out of the league at this point.

Jones is an athletic defender that doesn’t bring much offensively. Rather develop our young guys over adding him.

Like Davis a lot. Can do everything well, career per36 numbers are solid. I think he is in our price range and will out perform any contract of that value so I’d hope we can get him on a 3 year deal.

Not a big Lonnie Walker fan, don’t like his bbiq. At the minimum though he would be a solid add.

I’ve always liked Cory Joseph as a 5th or 6th guard on a value deal. Turns 32 in august so at this point I’d rather go younger. Good vet guy to have on a roster of young guys

Voodoo says he’s staying and that’s good enough for me. Saw a tweet that said he signed for 3/54 from a source I don’t trust that was deleted

Oh okay. I just wanted to see the official numbers. So we know what we have left if we got the tax MLE.

I would assume that Horst would massage the numbers to get the tpmle, especially given the numbers on Khris’s deal. Have to also assume that the reason nothing has been announced is that we have trade offers hanging out there because everyone is waiting on the Harden deal

Giannis can walk in 2 years. Middleton can walk in 2 years. Jrue can walk in 2 years. My guess is Brook will get a 2+1 deal and can walk in 2 years. Let's win another title. We can and we will.

Let the chronic complainers complain. No matter who we draft we should have drafted that guy instead. No matter who we sign we should have signed that guy instead. No matter who we trade for we should have traded for that guy instead. When Horst get fired one of them can go from realgm to being a real GM. It's easy.

Other way of looking at it is the Bucks will have mass cap flexibility in a season where Giannis can recruit whoever he wants to play with.

We’ll have plenty of firsts to trade by then too if we hang onto them (which we may or may not do).

Either way I think the key will be Horst finding some young or just undervalued guys for Griffin to develop in his system — like him and Bud did with Bobby / Pat / Brook.

It's beyond insane that the Bucks are going to spend $60 million on a 35 year who gets eaten in the playoffs.

Jrue can technically walk after next season. Are we assuming he picks up his PO and doesn't want to be extended? Are we purposely not going to extend Giannis before he hits FA? If we give Khris & Brook POs it seems risky to assume neither will pick them up at their age. It seems like we would need alot to go right to actually open a Max slot in 2025

If we run it back, I will cancel my NBA access yearly subscription ... Give me a reason to watch regular season games... Andre is not enough.

After watching Bucks games 10 years in row 2013-2023 that beautiful journey probably has a bitter taste in the end.

Horst please ... trade Jrue

Yes there are variables and various scenarios in play. One of them is everyone can walk in 2 years. Of course we want to extend Giannis and he will be traded if he doesn't want to stay. Jrue's retirement talk may just be talk and if that's the case I'm not so sure we extend him. My point is that we have a 2 year window if we want to roll with the championship core.

I’m just gonna look at Brook coming back at a high price as that’s just what it cost to keep Giannis happy…. I’m hoping there’s a move out there still that brings in a higher caliber player than the combination of Grayson/Bobby/Pat. But as far as Brook goes, if that’s what it takes to keep Giannis happy in Milwaukee, **** it.

Winning would make Giannis happy, and if we overpay Brook and prevent ourselves from adding a good player who could actually help come playoff time, we're cooked.

Realistically if we bring Brook back it probably prevents us from the TPMLE(assuming we also bring Jae back). But unless you think the player we could get for the TPMLE is going to be better then Brook then I'm not sure you can afford to pass on bringing him back.

Have to think Brook was pretty pissed off watching the Nuggets beast the Heat. Have to think Dre can do what Braun did, perhaps some of Brown even. A healthy Khris elevates Jrue and Bobby. Jae gives us a physical presence. Davis might be our KCP, or maybe Moore is. Think Horst adds one more piece on top of all that. I’d be pretty stoked
