Hostile because im tired of the arrogance of so many in here who have 5% of the knowledge, information and skillset of our front office but act like they know more than them. Its annoys the life outta me.
It’s merely looking at contracts, minute distribution, and timeframes. All the information is there. If they had a trade done they would have pulled the trigger. The info that comes out is “we aren’t sure yet” and he’s on an expiring deal… What info am I missing here?
Is there a free agent out there that could contribute more than Bol? If they think there is, it would make sense to wait and see how free agency plays out. Money could dry up and all of a sudden we get a steal of a deal. Point is, it costs nothing for us to wait. Its a total win win.
This type of tribalism is what i hate the most.
Assumpsion that front officies are some supreme creatures who know everything and are mistake free is laughable.
You can find front officies that traded unprotected picks for 35+ years old KG and Pierce.
You can find front office that moved rookie Magic Johnson for haul of role players.
Every year out of 14 lottery picks, at least 5 of them are worthless garbage.
There isn't spot for Bol to be played. He fell out of last year's rotation as well, without Isaac, Jett Howard, Ingles and Black.
He probably had some value back in December and January and we elected to do nothing.
This pattern of behavior of front office being unsure what to do, just to do nothing and get nothing in return happend with:
Hezonja ( declined 4th year option than wanted to keep him)
Payton ( waiting mid season to give up on him, while electing to start him until that point)
Bamba ( resign against nobody, than giving up on him for nothing)
Money in nba won't "dry out" in day 2,3,4 or 5. And that doesn't really matter anyway. Fact is ,Magic front office can't even make decision on player that 100% won't be playing in any serious rotation next year, yet they still have no clue what to do with him, despite fact answer is so cristal clear.
They are "brilliant" for having no clue what to do with player that will eventually be cut in one way or another? What's next? Famming over them because they show up in a room for draft? Brilliant move. They walked in. Best walk in history!
