Those are really nice numbers.

He’s freaking awesome. I have wanted Minnesota to sign him so badly.

I'm not sure how rookie contracts work, but I would love to give DJ a 3 year deal starting at 1 million and waive Jmac's 2.3 million. We could use that 1.2 million. Hopefully DJ has a strong summer league and that becomes a possibility.

Kris Bankston is a 6’ 8” Senior forward. Bankston leads the Spartans in rebounding with 6.9 RPG, and blocks with 1.2 BPG. He averages 11.3 PPG and is the teams most efficient scorer, shooting 71.3% from the field. This FG% would lead the nation if he had enough field goal attempts to qualify.

Bankston is a high energy big man, and can guard all five positions. He has great hands and catches almost every pass thrown his way. Bankston uses his physicality to win battles on the boards.

He looks a lot like Kenneth Faried / Kenyon Martin in offense

I'll have to see what my schedule is like, but I may end up going the first day if I can.

I guess he is not a good shooter yet. Overall I have impression that Kok is more athlete than basketball player right now

P.S. I'd love to come in US and watch MIN games, but logistic is a bit complicated

With how Connelly talks about trying to be a year early on guys, it makes me think Kok Yat is a prime candidate for a two-way slot. In fact, I think I'd be surprised if he doesn't get a spot unless he's completely awful in Vegas.

The promising thing too is Carton is one of the younger guys on the summer league team. He's two months older than Jaden, for reference. Most of the tryout guys are around 24, he's 2 years younger and has system experience too.

One thing that’s kinda got my interest is that there’s no true 5’s on the SL team. Just a bunch of larger 4s who could theoretically play the 5 in Iowa. The common part between all of them is that they’re either established shooters or working on it and slowly shooting threes in small volume. I’d imagine the goal is to pair Miller with floor spacers to not only compensate for him being a meh shooter but to help him get used to playing with guys like Naz and KAT who can space the floor.

Also, I am incredibly excited to see how Minott has improved.
Rest in peace Mamba. There'll never be another Kobe.

I wouldn't read too far into it. Players want to go somewhere they feel they have a shot. With the NBA club three deep at center and potentially Garza in Iowa plus Miller as a wild card, not much opportunity to be had.

And while listed as a forward, Trevion Williams is essentially a center. John too, probably.

It won't matter that much because other teams won't have many huge bigs either.

You just want to put these guys in dozens of situations and see how they respond.

I can't wait to see this Miller kid. I got a hunch he'll kill it. I love his hustle. He's come a long way so far.

Part of me wonders if Minott is one of those guys who is just too good for summer league, that he'll end up getting shut down by the team after a few games for injury prevention. However, he's so raw and inexperienced that I want him to play as much as possible.

Fun to go back and watch Josh roast Scoot (0), Leonard (11) and Spurs second rounder Sidy Cissoko (25)

Another guy to keep an eye on as a possible two-way is Feron Hunt

What is Yat's best position?

He’s built kinda like McDaniels, so probably SF but can play in a wide range of different lineups
