Also considered/considering at 6'7" Dalano Banton, if rumors are true. Linked to Terence Davis who is 6'4" but has an almost 6'9" wing span.

Forget Dame let’s just trade brogdon and scraps for Harden.
Brissett I had heard of, Banton I never knew existed. Can’t be worth more than a two way deal but he’s from Massachusetts so there’s that.
Sabonis extending seems a bit underrated.
Thanks for reading my Sunday notes column.

I actually think Brogdan might be a better player than Harden at this point

76ers probably wouldnt trade with us even if it was the best deal. Harden, Tatum, Brown, Porzingis,RWIII would be ridiculous.

Meh, I wanted nothing to do with Harden when he was leaving Rockets, then Nets. Still want nothing to do with him. If he came on the vet min I still wouldn’t be sure. Getting him is a good way to **** up your locker room.

Nothing wrong with having a different opinion - as long as it's done respectfully. It'd be lame if we all agreed on everything

Thybulle for MLE? Like White, he'll be useful for us if we'd be more of a drop coverage team. Or is he RFA?

Re: Trade/Free Agency Thread, part 7, 2023-24
Slim pickings for backup big men free agents..
Mo Bamba
Willy Hernangomez
Blake Griffin
Darius Bazley
Honestly wouldn't hate it if we signed Mo Bamba. If we can get him to sign a minimum deal, low risk - high reward pickup. He's the best shooter on this list..
Best option though could just be bringing Kornet and Griffin back. They know the system, they have chemistry (on and off court) already built here. And with both of them, we know they're ok with getting sporadic playing time.
Of course, there's also a few bigs from overseas who may look to make the leap over to the NBA and may be willing to take a minimum contract..

Yup. Not a bad option depending on the cost. He could really help give our defense a boost.I can already picture him and White driving opponents nuts with their pesky defense. Our perimeter defense was shaky at times this season.

Kornet isn't a free agent though. He's got an unguaranteed deal.Hal14 wrote:Slim pickings for backup big men free agents..

Yeah all the European stars coming over to the NBA. We need expansion of NBA teams! Too many good players, not enough roster spots.

Isn't Kornet still under contract?
I like Biyombo. Solid veteran that understands his role perfectly. Only thing is you can't play him with Rob.
How about Trendon Watford? Only 22. Summer League Finals MVP. I'm surprised Portland waived him since he was probably their most promising big. Energy guy but probably not much else.
Harrell can provide enforcer-type energy and some scoring off the bench during one of those listless RS games where the core just don't seem to have "it."
I think the ideal 4th big would be someone that could play the 4 & 5. Someone who's OK with not when everybody's healthy and in the playoffs but should be dependable enough to play up to 20 minutes or even start in a pinch when the main bigs are out. Blake did this role quite well last year.

I’ll take the bet. Heat is a lock imo, its how Adam Silver’s NBA works
Sig bet then? I have it on great authority that he won't be in Miami
I don’t know what a sig bet is but yeah I’m down

Mainly going off that Twitter insider who’s shooting 90%
That guy said Dame's going to Miami
Sorry I fell back asleep with my phone on my face. Ended up on an ad I clicked on here. Almost bought hedge shearers.
Anyway, yeah I just meant that’s why I’m entertaining the idea of this. I do belive brad is interested. But I do agree he is most likely going to Miami. But it’s the off-season why not play. Once Dame is in the black and red, I’ll shift my focus to ANT

If they can ever get Concord style travel back it might work. I think and nfl team and an EPL team might work. Even share practice facilities.
