There’s just not many teams who have both movable salary to absorb a massive super max deal like this, have the need for a 33 year old star point guard, and have the willingness to send over massive draft capital on top of it. That’s why all the “Miami won’t be the best deal” is very amusing to me. Then throw the 2nd apron problem that a lot of teams are not gonna want to deal with on the backend of this deal?

The Miami Heat are going to be the most motivated team to make the deal.

Ya id describe it as a legit title contender on the verge of being the favorites depending on whats around them. But not a super team imo.

Furthermore Dame’s only played 87 games out of a possible 164 the past 2 seasons. Not like he’s a beacon of health

He really is though tbh, before last season the most games he’s missed in a year was like 7-8. Last season had to get surgery and could’ve came back but didn’t to help draft positioning, this season shut it down to help the draft as well (funny how the FO is ignoring him trying to help which led to them getting scoot)

What is up with us trying to down play out team? We play possum in the regular season. Jimmy doesnt give a dam and plays like it until after the Allstar break. If Jimmy played with some effort we are probably a 4th seed or higher if we are being honest.

The Boston Trade M.Brogdon, R. Williams III and P. Ptirchard and 3 FP makes me laugh because the Celtics are unable to complete this trade ever. Since they will now be an over second apron team after this trade, they are only able to take back 100% of the salary they are sending out, plus $0. Celtics can only take back $38.1M in salary based on the amount they are sending out.
