These have to be top 5. They are no 1 options on their team and all NBA talent
1. Zion (Despite injuries he has the highest ceiling of anyone here by far)
2. Ant (Future MVP candidate)
3. Haliburton (Same as Ant, future MVP candidate)
4. Brunson
5. Mikal Bridges (if he does what he did last season, deserves this spot, if not then he drops)

Really good players/borderline allstar

Zion: never won anything, has he even played in a playoff game? Too busy fuxking pornstars and getting them pregnant. Fat and injury prone.

Ant: my favorite young player in the league, good offensive player. Hasn’t won anything.

Haliburton: hasn’t even made the playoffs.

Brunson: midget who plays no defense, held an L to Bam in the playoffs

Bridges: glorified role player who had a hot streak

Murray: offensive player who was getting clamped by Bam on switches when Spo adjusted, luckily he plays with the most skilled center ever

I'd expect Embiid requested Maxey not be moved but has 0 issues with Harden moved, Windhorst was saying Philly would say no to a young MJ or young Larry Bird for Maxey. It's just a different situation between the 2 teams.

I just don’t understand how the trade is that terrible

Your getting a 23 yo 20 ppg scorer(if you don’t want him he can be traded for draft picks) an Expiring in Lowry, possibly Caleb Martin and Multiple draft picks… is the trade THAT bad???

We didn’t even know Mikal Bridges was that good then they got role players and 4 FRPs for KD!!!!

I think the problem right now is nobody wanting to trade multiple picks for him and they don’t want to get stuck paying both Herro and Simons.

Portland has the incentive to drag this one out. Dame is still on a 4-year contract.

The path to trade Dame to Miami is set but they are still waiting if some other teams will budge. This is like KD's situation last off-season.

What you're saying is what it's being mentioned that they're currently doing. They're trying to find assets for Herro and it seems it's not exactly all that easy with his new 4 year contract size. I think there are multiple options on Miami's side (better to worse) to get this trade done but it requires more than just Portland and Miami in the trade and that seems to be the sticking point that Miami has to work out other trades with.

It seems Miami is trying to exhaust the lesser trade options before they have to give up a trade package they'd rather not do. Not to mention, depending on the trade package, maybe there's more players being moved from Portland like Nurkic, that would be a positive asset for Portland by getting his salary moved.

Yeah, Dame will eventually get here, but there's going to me mountains of posturing from Portland....They have to save face with ownership somehow that they pulled all their stops to squeeze every last cent.

If no trade happens within the next few days, i expect a statement from the Heat saying theyre going to move forward with the players on the roster while looking for ways to improve.. which will read to me as, these trade discussions with portland will continue on till the deadline. If i had to put money on whether Dame wears a portland jersey on opening day,, id bet a lot on that. That owner and that GM are not gonna budge just yet, they will hold out and then make a move by deadline, and it wouldnt shock me if it was a team not Miami.

They may do a very bitter move and trade him to some team not even on his list just because

It's not like the KD situation, where it was an option to keep him and compete (which they did till trade deadline).
Portland is just as interested in trading Dame now, as Dame wants to be traded.
They have a rebuilding roster and are happy to give their young players lots of playing time.

Yes, they have a bit of time here, but this has a clear expiration date, a few months at most and he is 100% traded before training camp. Cronin is just doing his job right now and is trying to get the best Heat offer and possibly trying to flip Herro in the process to a 3rd team. Honestly, I don't think anyone would even offer more right now than the Heat and if the final offer is Herro, Jovic, expirings + 2 FRPs they'll probably just take it if it means they don't have to hold Dame hostage going into training camp and sitting him out until a better deal comes around, it won't be worth the drama.

Zion honestly is such a disppointment. Hes just completely thrown away his career for food! Like what? At least be a crackhead with the money like Odom or something then Id understand a bit. Eating not that hard to control when you have a potential HOF career on the line. Just wait till ya retire and then go off like Barkley if thats your thing lol.
