But what are the odds of Fultz entering this season deciding he wants to jack up 3pts while maintaining his 3pt average?

Is there a planet, where if Black dominates summer league that Fultz gets moved to SG and Black starts at PG? Yeah Harris is in limbo when this happens but maybe that isn't such a bad thing.

I think there is zero possibility anyone but Fultz starts at point guard this season unless he’s injured.

Black could be far and away better and he won’t start with Fultz in the roster. I also don’t know what Fultz would do at SG. Is he guarding other shooting guards? I’d hope not.

I'm really interested to see much taller he looks out there than Summer league players.
Wemby isn't playing until they get to Vegas.

I don't think you are wrong and to me Summer League is going to be a great litmus test for how ready Black is to play PG.

I know "bad players can do well in summer league". That is true, but not always. If there is a clue, cracks I am sure will show.

And presumably with Black he can effectively guard up to 3 positions. Granted I am not saying that is what I want him to do. That is the hope though.

Really wondering how long it will take before our glass of a backcourt becomes injured and Black gets minutes and we all get to see how he does.

Cole - can be injury prone
Suggs - Is injury prone
Fultz - Is the legal definition of injury prone per my legal team

I doubt we have another unprecedented 2/3 PG injured. Also has the ship for Suggs at PG permanently sailed?

Anthony Black reminds me of Elfrid Payton. Really slow release shooting form. Elfrid Payton Is out of NBA after 7 years. Let’s see how long AB will survive.

Suggs in the gym. Cole wasn’t mentioned but he has done the same in the past… gotta think those two are part of the core moving forward.

I didn't know DJ Wilson played at Michigan. So, that's 3 players from Michigan on the summer league team.

NY is starting to copycat us with the Villanova players.

Did you want them to take Hendricks?

This is almost word for word the scouting report on Black. Good feel for the game. Slow shooting release.

That's true. Black was 18 for half of last season. Hopefully, he makes a big jump.

He looks nothing like him, but every so often when Jett was speaking in that post-training media session I could’ve sworn he looked like Donald Faison, (aka Turk from Scrubs).

Random thought aside, I like his poise and maturity in the media sessions. The kid look ready to be a pro from early on.

Black’s shot still looks like a project but good to see him working so hard on it. I believe it’s gonna pay off, but might take a couple of seasons. He’s just gotta keep getting reps up and get comfortable with it.

If the Magic could fuse Jett's shooting form with the rest of Black's game, they'd really have something.
