Might have to revive my DeRozan/Caruso trade ideas.

I think Hauser is better than Grant anyways and on a great contract. Grant's only value to this team was his interior defense against bigs and comic relief. Good decision by Brad and got what he could.

Meanwhile everyone here sleeping on Hauser..

Yeah, this is Hauser's chance to become a legit NBA player.

And Smart's departure only means more minutes for Derrick White.

The Celtics really have great roster now as is.

Yeah. But, He's Injury-Prone.

The people that want to dump him for nothing are the same people that are pissed Smart is gone. Smart was the most beloved Celtic in a long long time. Not sure exactly why.

Brogdon (22.5M) out, Norm Powell (18M) or Gary Trent Jr. (18.5M) in

Use TPE to facilitate a Pritchard (4M) for big trade: Jalen Smith (5M), Isaiah Jackson (2.7M), or Beef stew (5.2M)

Payroll change: -3M to -5M

With newly available tax MLE, sign Ayo Dosunmu

White/Dosunmu/Banton
Jaylen/Powell-or-Trent
Tatum/Hauser/Walsh
KP/Al
Rob/Smith-or-Jackson-or-Stewart/Luke

Plus two vet-mins for a third wing and a big

I messed around with one earlier today, lol. Not sure how I feel about it. Would rather Amen than Green, but feel like HOU isn't going for that. But feels light and too much for us at the same time... shrug.

PS: Sorry DD, it's not THAT J Green.

I think anybody who had a problem with Joe is gone, and that’s why I think Brogdon is next.

6 man rotation. lol

Hauser is a great 3 point shooter who couldnt get playing time under a coach whose entire philosophy is shooting more threes.

Yeah. But, He's Injury-Prone.

He played 67 games for the Cs last season.

His reputation of being injury prone was because of leg injuries.

But his injury in the east finals was his arm, not his leg.

Besides, the Cs really only need Brogdon in the playoffs.

Brogdon was great against Atlanta and Philly in last season's playoffs.

So you are trying to trade Brogdon for two absolute chuckers? That's fine and all but I don't want to hear you complain about ball movement this year!

You want Porzingis and extend Brown to his supermax/near-supermax? Grant and Smart are the cost of doing that. Joe will really just need to coach up the scrubbies we acquire for that bench.

It's alright, you know we all love scrubbies. :D

Is there really anyone that wants to dump him for nothing? All I've seen are deals that return good players back. Maybe breaking him down into 2 lesser guys for better depth numbers wise. Or a still good player who just makes less money so maybe we could keep a Grant Williams type.

I have not see any proposals here that suggest dumping him for nothing.
