Don't forget about out annual washed vet min C signing. I'm looking at you Christian Wood.

Unless he's a headcase, I'd 1000% take Christian Wood on a discount.

He was moving, switching, and protecting the rim better than I expected. OTOH he missed several free throws. Overall I was encouraged since he's supposed to be able to shoot.

How could he not be a headcase? Ever since he was here as a rookie, teams can't wait to get rid of him even when he puts up good numbers.

I can only assume he's toxic in the locker room because otherwise what is the explanation?

And if Kyrie could not chase the bad juju away with his burning sage in the locker room routine, what chance do mere mortals have against it.

I really hope the 76ers don't turn Petrusev into a C he's way better at PF playing off a C who can pass to it to him cutting baseline or in the corner for a triple. I think him adding weight is a disaster waiting to happen at C. Playing with low IQ guards in SL at C he's going to look garbage he will be way better playing within a system.

Not making excuses, but just firing away without a conscience is clearly not a natural part of Springer's game, and is something that Nurse can hopefully bring out in him.

What pisses me off to no end is the waste of two years of young players like Springer, Joe, Bassey, etc. with a coach who couldn't be bothered to spend time and really develop them.

It makes it all the more impressive what Maxey has been able to accomplish with such a shortsighted idiot coaching him, and what he might grow into now that we have an actual coach here.

Still don’t why we let Joe go. He came in and noticeably bulked up and performed well in SL/Pre Season.

Maxey is a self driven type, kind of on the other end of the spectrum whereby sometimes you have to hone them in. Fantastic person, those players get the best out of themselves which you can say he’s the only one on the list.

Springer has the defence but I feel he’s abit unders to me.

He does not play like a wing or a guard on offense.
He also can’t protect the rim and catch lobs.

If Mike Muscala and Jock Landdale can play PF I don't see why Petrusev can't he's bigger and more athletic than both. He can just sit in the corner for 3's and dive cut which he's great at for lay ups/dunks. I think Philly in general is a bad fit for both him and the 76ers I was hoping they would let go of his draft rights.

He might be stuck between positions in the NBA and better suited to play in Europe most likely.

Agree with what you said.

I think NBA is a different sport than the one played in EU. And in Petrusev’s skillset is not that valued in the NBA.

If Petrusev wants to have a good future in the NBA, it starts with him being able to jack up 3s on high volume and efficiency. Maybe turn into a George Niang with size.

Dieng has looked awful for OKC. Definitely a disappointing start to summer league for him.

I can’t believe the SL organizers had the chance to match Holmgren vs Wembanyama and didn’t.

Council really knows how to create space and finish with either hand. There is really nice attributes to his game, but he needs to learn how to shoot.

Terq is imposter Marcus Sasser. It's clear why he wasn't drafted lol. Too skinny, chucker, easy to beat.

Also, Springer has been throwing excellent passes this entire game. No one is converting lol.

Alright, I can see the value in Terq. The handles are there. He's at least making this fun to watch in some regards.

Wish we'd see some more Tubelis. Dude must be sucking in practice.

Terq is a good fit for his two way deal, see what you can develop. Council is worth the two way on athleticism alone. So far I have not seen Tubelis listed as an official two way, wonder if they are watching other SL teams for a possible third two way or if Tubelis gets it.
