Bet on Scoot...once Dame trade goes through, he'll have the greenest of green lights and the attitude to match.

Lots of belief that Wemby will be brought along slowly, with minutes restrictions, etc...I'm not sure exactly why he's being talked about like a racehorse, but multiple guests on Lowe Post & Windhorst Pods seemed to accept that as understood.

Scoot is going to be on a revenge tour his rookie season. I'd bet on him too

As much as I like to bet on Chet as the ROY... OKC has SGA , Giddy and Williams in that pecking order before they even think about him.

So yeah, my horse is on Scoot.

I find Black's footwork on his pull-up jumper to be poor, see second video:

Read on Twitter

He also has no lift at all. This is very disappointing.

Scoot vs Amen vs Black is going to be an interesting subplot for a few years

Ok... lol.... there are two videos... on of the black and another of 4 players taking shots from 3.... no one is getting lift on these shots or shooting over competition. let's wait till we see him on the court... or after his first season before getting disappointed. lol

This guy with straight face really pitched idea of Black playing offball guard for Fultz and pointed out he will thrive as catch & shoot option.

Okey, in next video, how will Mo Bamba start at PG and become next Magic Johnson and help Joel Embiid win 9 championships in a row.

Gosh with what Portland fans have gone through I really hope so.

I wasn't "Devastated" when T-Mac and Howard wanted out. But it was devastating as a fan. Here is hoping Scoot tares it up. Especially being picked 3rd.

Thank you for saying this cause I’ve been screaming it. A slow release + zero elevation off the ground = ball swatted 5 rows up in the bleachers. Bad training is going to hinder any chance of development for Black. There is/was absolutely nothing suggesting he’d be able to develop a shot as he only shot 70% from the free throw line in college and 30% from the three point line. Usually low 3pt % with a high FT% gives hope the three pointer has room to improve. This really feels like Elf 2.0 IMO, I hope I’m wrong but time will tell.

Why cant we allow him to perfect the shooting form first? Lol

Just from a profile and style perspective, watching AB I often get reminded of Harden with the way he handles the ball and creates. I think they’re very similar physically, and they play at similar paces. Harden is obviously a goat tier scorer and Black has a raw and underdeveloped shot, but his foundation for everything else is high caliber.

Yeah, but we already knew his jump shot was broken. I said through the lead up to the draft that Magic fans weren’t prepared for how much work his jumper needed and that they’d crucify him by the season’s end over it.

Very excited to see AB in summer league at point guard.

Mostly because it will probably the only time this season he gets minutes at that position.

I'm interested to see how Black compares to the other PGs.

Let's just be totally clear on one thing... Elfrid shot 26% from 3PT and 61% from the FT line as a JUNIOR in college. He showed zero improvement and in fact actually regressed as a shooter over the course of his college career.

Black wasn't a good shooter at Arkansas, but IMO it's unfair to put him in the same category as Payton who had three years of clear evidence that he couldn't shoot and more importantly wasn't improving as a shooter.

Read on Twitter

Here's a catch-and-shoot three from today. Much smoother and quicker than the clips we've seen of him shooting off the dribble.

Black seems to be the inverse of Fultz right now.

Fultz's jumper of the catch looks like garbage and he doesn't like to take them either. But when he can dribble his way into some forward and upward momentum, his pull up jumper looks a lot different and a lot better.

Black appears to have a much more confident stroke off the catch than he does off the dribble right now.

I already know this board will make me Anthony Black number one fan.
