-Waive Champagnie
-Backfill Pritchard's backup guard spot by signing either Wall, Terence Davis or Kyle Guy to a minimum deal
-Sign Griffin or Bazley for the other backup big man slot

C Rob
F Porzingis
F Tatum
G Bridges
G White

Bench: Brogdon, Al, Finney-Smith, Hauser, Davis, Brissett, Kornet, Griffin, Banton, Walsh

This is a championship team. Bridges and White would wreak havoc defensively - both all-NBA level defenders.

We'd now have 3 stars with more clearly defined roles:
Tatum - the MVP. It's his team, with no question about that. Wing scorer who can also rebound, pass and defend.
Porzingis - Stretch big who can not only shot, but also score in the post and block shots
Bridges - DPOY candidate wing who can also drop 20 points on any given night

We could rotate the 3 bigs (KP, rob, al) in and out and go double big. Or we'd also have the flexibility to go small, with Tatum, Finney-Smith or Brissett at the 4.

More flexibility now to build a winning team around your 3 stars, since Bridges makes so much less than JB's supermax contract.

If Brooklyn says no, I'll then throw in 1 of the 2 first round picks we have in 2024..
Nothing wrong with having a different opinion - as long as it's done respectfully. It'd be lame if we all agreed on everything :)

BK isn’t dealing Bridges. He’s on a GREAT deal. But just for fun Id do Brown/Pritchard/2nds for Bridges/DFS.

Then flip Brogdon, Timelord, DFS and every pick we have for Dame.

Tatum will leave once his contract finishes with this type of roster

Sick of Dame actually. Let him go to the heat. Probably would cause problems with JT jacking up 3’s. He’s not a pass first pg, and it will just be a your turn my turn type of offense, similar with the Jays. Plus he’s old.

Detroit Pistons F/C Isaiah Stewart has agreed on a four-year, $64 million rookie contract extension, his agent Drew Gross of @RocNationSports tells ESPN. Stewart gets the first non-maximum extension for the 2020 draft class.

lol it's a better roster than the one we have now. Finney-Smith is much better than Pritchard. Bridges is a much better defender than JB, more durable and on a much cheaper contract which allows us to build a more complete, balanced roster from top to bottom.

Last season Bridges had higher TS%, higher BPM, higher RAPTOR than JB.

No more short guards, period. It would have to be an overpay from the other team, and I doubt that would happen.

In addition, I would give Brown a player option on the fifth year, but no way would I give him a no trade clause. The mess with Bradley Beal showed why you don't do this.

Why would anyone trade two all-stars making $15 mil. or so for Jaylen Brown

That’s not an insult to JB either. If someone is willing to trade you 2 all stars on cheap deals for one all star on a more expensive deal you do it before their GM is fired.

Brown can't get a no trade. He only has 7 years of service.

As presently constituted, the Celtics are one Jason Tatum away from being the Washington Wizards. So go ahead and sign John Wall, who cares at this point?

1 dollar is worth more in the NBA than 2 half dollars.

Giving Jaylen a super max contract that includes a no trade clause might go down as the worst decision an NBA GM has ever made.

He’s right about one thing this team is pretty damn good as constituted. Brogdon as the fourth best scorer is pretty lit.

Mikal Bridges for Jaylen Brown is a good deal for the Celts.

That's if the Celts are lying about them willing to give JB the supermax.

The nets are not trading mikal bridges. They are not doing it. They got offered the third pick and simons for bridges. It’s not happening. Other teams don’t do what we want lol. Atlanta isn’t trading trae for Jaylen and the nets aren’t trading mikal for Jaylen.

If Jaylen insists on getting a no trade clause then just trade him to the Hornets or OKC for 3 2nd round picks.
