If he's healthy in the playoffs, almost certain to be closing. They should be in position to test drive other iterations (Al, Timelord, Hauser) to close regular season games with Brogdon being load managed, as you mention.

Not to mention I don’t think he’s gonna be on the team lmao.

I actually do. We added a premium 3rd scoring option. Brogdon is an elite 4th off the bench. Gives us a lot of different weapons at different positions in different roles. Plus he’s not the mismatch on the other end that Pritchard would be.

I wanna know if we're gonna sign Blake. He's been helpful to us last season. I don't mind brimging him back.

Right. So maybe slot him into Pritchard's spot...and trade Pritchard..
Nothing wrong with having a different opinion - as long as it's done respectfully. It'd be lame if we all agreed on everything :)

I'm assuming they aren't idiotic enough to send one of their tradable 1sts from 2028-2030 for Brogdon. Mann is the only thing of real value now that they made their #30 pick already (unless that's a guy we really like?)

If they traded Mann and Covington for Brogdon, they'd have:

Brogdon / Westbrook
PG / Powell
Kawhi / KMart Jr.
Batum / Morris
Zubac / Plumlee

Bones Hyland, Amir Coffey, Kobe Brown, Brandon Boston Jr., Jason Preston would be their deep bench.

That's a good 10 man rotation. On our end, we'd have:

White / Pritchard
Brown / Mann
Tatum / Hauser
Porzingis / Covington
RWilliams / Horford

I don't like it over keeping Brogdon. But, if I could flip Covington's expiring deal with picks (and maybe other filler salary) to get another good piece back, then I'm intrigued.

How about a 3-teamer with Toronto? Brogdon to LAC, Mann & Batum to Toronto, OG to Boston w/ filler and picks where needed to make it work. Probably at least a 1st from Boston to Toronto.
I brings the ruckus to the ladies!

Major difference. Blake has an awesome personality, he’s funny, and he brings people together. Energy riser. Wall is not that.

I don't recall anyone saying those things about Blake until after we signed him, though.

Before we signed him, people had those same concerns about Blake..

Literally nobody did. He’s literally a standup comic. Blake has always been a good dude. Wall is a thug

Trust me dude. We don’t need him and don’t want him. I’d be shocked if Celts brought him in.
He’s not the greatest of leaders and role models. Partially why he’s out of the league. I’ve heard so many negative things about him over the years.

Imagine LeBron getting a T for flopping. Ref would never work in this league again.

Let’s not call guys thugs based on hearsay, especially given its racial connotations.

People are too soft these days. Has nothing to do with race. Bottom line, hard pass on John Wall. Let’s just say on a pure basketball basis. The rest you guys can look into yourselves. He’s not the best bet leader. Let’s just say that. We aren’t talking about Al Horford here.

You don’t mind, but Blake does. He said he wanted a role on a team, and he won’t get that here.
