Ime should play the young guys more (Amen, Jabari, Green, Whitmore, Eason). Develop the crap out of those 5 guys. Will be interesting to see how he balances the minutes between the young guys and the vets..

Maybe it wasn't quite the "gift" from Minny that people claim. Especially since KG himself got a career-altering injury his second year with the Cs.
I came to follow the celtics once KG was traded here (followed him from Wolves and never left!). The deal was fair. Yes, the Celtics got the best player in the deal by far. But the Wolves got good 1sts, some young talent and an all star centre that blew up his leg. What more do you want for a player that is 30+ and has demanded out

From Wolves fan to Celtics forum mod. What an ascent!

The most notable name on the list of additional players charged was former six-time All-Defensive Team shooting guard Tony Allen, who won a title with the Celtics as a reserve in 2008.

In fairness, it was all backups. Literally the entire starting 5 sat.
I think the starting group of Trent Brown/Cole Strange/David Andrews/Mike Onwenu/Riley Reiff will be fine.
Onwenu is a borderline all pro.
Andrews is a borderline pro bowler.
Brown has effort issues but when he's motivated he's good - and motivation for him usually means contract year which he's in one now.
Strange might never be worth where they drafted him but he looks solid enough.
Reiff might be toast as a washed up vet, but if the other 4 are good he should be decent enough to hide with help.
The problem is they have no real semblance of depth. I think they'll be fine if the top 5 are playing out there - probably even better than "fine". But the depth is so bad and injuries are so inevitable in that sport that they'll likely go long stretches with horrendous line play because all 5 starters playing all year is ridiculously unrealistic.
