I can't believe I only got 6/9 on the immaculate grid game on basketball reference so far

Edit - Got to 8/9 but couldn't hit Pacers/Wizards after my "hope Darren Collison was on the Wizards" halfcourt prayer bounced out
It's going to be a glorious day... I feel my luck could change

I've been going greedy on my Immaculate Grid attempts, so winding up with 4-6 other days, but it paid off today, 9/9, Rarity score 10 :)

My picks in the spoiler

Spoiler:
Byron Scott (Grizz/Lakers)
Bonzi Wells (Grizz/Blazers)
Jon Leuer (Grizz/Pistons)
Wesley Johnson (Clippers/Lakers)
Dave Wohl (Braves/Blazers)
Chris Wilcox (Clippers/Pistons)
Vern Mikkelsen (10 reb/Lakers)
Maurice Lucas (10 reb/Blazers)
George Yardley (10 reb/Pistons)

Pretty wild that DWade is getting inducted into the HoF and Lebron is still playing.

Yes and no. Wade could have been retired sooner and in sooner without significantly affecting his career value/impact (mileage could differ on exactly how far back one wants to go).
And Wade's style and reliance on athleticism and drawing fouls shouldn't age well.
So you could reasonably expect LeBron to go another 5+ years on Wade.
But if you take '19 end date for Wade as a given and it's about that 2003 draftee that's still going, still a pretty good player ...

Dave Wohl ... wow.

Am presently struggling for a non-obvious Rocket All-NBA. Think all their stars have been mega-stars ... (thinking aloud below)
Spoiler:
Malone, Olajuwon, McGrady, Yao, Harden. So did Hayes, Sampson, Paul make it it their years there? Don't think Francis did. I think Howard probably did but like Paul he's a superstar if not Rockets synonymous. Paul really should have the first year otoh but he's recent (but not Rocket synonymous). Hayes was a big in a time of many bigs and still young and playing C I think. Sampson shouldn't but he's got that raw ppg. Going Sampson.

I imagine all of those guys are a bit difficult to work with - Daryl, Doc, Joel, Ben/Jimmy/Harden. I'm not too surprised they couldn't paper over their issues without championship level success.

Unsure if Colbinii is referring to Harden here (eg. Chris Paul, MDA, Westbrook, Durant, Kyrie, Doc, Morey, Embiid) - but I don’t think he’s been helping his case(s) of being in a bad situation at any of the stops since 2020-21 when the antics with leaving Houston first began.

If it’s true that Harden was lied to in a handshake agreement (which is believable given the paycut he took last year), then this will just be another situation where I don’t really blame him. Which is almost all of them tbh.

I expect there was a bit of a handshake deal, but that's into fool me twice territory. Harden's worked with Morey before, and now even after not getting the extension he wanted as the handshake deal got broken (presumably) he still opts back in instead of opting out and taking the money in Houston (not sure if there were any other options on that front).

Harden probably did get dicked around by Morey but confusing part is why he was so interested in lateral move of going to the Clippers with two stars that can't stay healthy instead of playing with the MVP in his prime, if it's about getting max contract and playing in big market, he could've found his Melo-Knicks spot years ago, but doing a detour in Philadelphia and taking paycut last summer shows he was motivated by winning at one point. The Clippers are kind of a hedge where it's more viable winning wise than going back to Houston while still being a lifestyle friendly thing for him, but as a result if he did go to LA, the results would probably be unsatisfying and lead to him quitting again in a few years when Kawhi and George are broken down 34-35 year olds. I think he should have just kept it simple and picked between Philadelphia and Houston instead of play picking up opt in hoping to go to Clippers.
