I watched the two classification matches yesterday. So, two Luka matches on consecutive days. I know it’s his style, but man, that guy loves to whine about everything. Damn I'm a little bit conflicted, I always root for Serbia because they are basically taller Greeks, but I also want to see the endless trolling on the GB if the Canucks win a final against team USA.

Nit sure if this game effects fiba ranking for the qualifying tournaments, but won't directly impact Olympic birth

For that I'm quite sure that every World Cup game affects FIBA ranking. However, it would be interesting to know if Olympic qualification tournament next summer will affect FIBA ranking.

Latvia really had a great run in this World Cup. 5th or 6th, both places should be seen as a major success.

And they did that without Porz & one of Bertans bros. A lot of respect to Latvia. They have a good chance for qualifying to the Olympics next summer if all are healthy.

I dont think any of the first seeded countries are afraid of Croatia today, they are only a shade of the team they used to have. Maybe Greece, but then I think there are second seed nations better than Greece. In any case, they are not a real threat to anyone

Croatia has been trash on court in numerous years, but that can flip any time, because talent is there.
