Anyone who prioritizes winning would hate KAT.

KAT has a lot of talent, but if I was serious about winning a championship, I wouldn't want him anywhere near my team.

I would vomit if the Bucks traded for him.

Why is Cam Payne a no brainer add for us? Why would we make our roster worse just to add a guy that is considered a back up pg just because you think we dont have enough ball handlers? We are fine. If we are going to make a move it should be to improve the roster. What very little actual back up PG ball handling role Jevon filled last year (ie bringing the ball up) can easily be replaced by Andre Jackson (and AJ Green for that matter).

It ain't South Beach, I get it, but it legit would be the best shot he's ever gotten or will ever get for a ring. A Dame/Giannis duo is the frontrunner, period. Worth it.

Might be best case scenario why Giannis is pulling this ish.

Dame is the new Anthony Mason. Super high hopes, trade for him, he comes in over the hill, and Giannis out the door.

I know it seems obvious to move a small out to bring in Dame (another small), but Giannis, Dame and Brook is all the offense we need. I would much rather move Khris so that we can balance out offense/defense.

Salary filler would need to be added, but:

NYK:Jrue
ATL: Barrett
MKE: quickley, bogdan, Dallas ‘24 first, Sacramento ‘24 first

Atlanta would likely need to make a follow up trade to better arrange their team, but I could see their interest.

Milwaukee would then have 3 firsts, 2 swaps, marjon, Bobby, etc to trade mid-season.

I like it.

If you can turn Jrue into that package, I’d pull the trigger. IQ was awful during the playoffs but he wasn’t any worse than Jrue and at least he has the excuse of being young.

Woj:

“My sense is that the Blazers have done a lot more talking with teams in the last say 10 to 14 days than they did probably in at least a month plus prior,” Woj said. “And a big part of that is the league is back to work now after Labor Day, and training camp is starting to approach. And that’s the next real deadline in this process.

“But I think Portland, what they’ve been trying to do, is see how they could put together multi-team deals that would get them the assets that they would want: draft picks, young players.

“There might be a team that their best asset is a veteran player that doesn’t interest the Blazers, but there’s a third team who might want to take on that veteran and then send whether it’s a young player or picks in part to Portland.

“So I think they’ve been in communication with a lot of teams trying to find a structure of a deal that can get them a Damian Lillard trade. We’ll see now how much traction they can get between now and the start of camp,” means the three weeks between now and October 3.

Giannis out here planting false flags and improving the value of the Bucks assets so that the team can load up for their next big move and people questioning his loyalty. The only reason we don't all know that he played this game this exact same way in 2020, is because saying so would have spoiled the ability to do it again in 2024. Someday when his career is coming to end, I hope he spills the beans so we can all marvel all this man's dedication to winning and doing it in Milwaukee

The game don't work, and those picks don't look all that appealing if Giannis tells the world he's going nowhere

Man, that sure sounds like us. I don’t think there are that many teams that would fit the above, either.

Us, Philly, clippers, lakers, gsw, Minnesota,, maybe Miami.

While the nets don’t have that many interesting young players, they do now have a bunch of firsts they could send out from the KD trade - so I don’t think they would fall into “their best asset is a vet” category.

I also doubt the lakers are shopping AD, and that gsw is all that interested.

Prior to the off-season, I was willing to part with both Khris and Jrue for Dame, because I thought a two man game of Giannis-Dame could break the league.

We’ve seen lebron-AD carry a team to a title with just roll-players around them, because no one had an answer for their primary action. I think Giannis-Dame would be like that.

If we happened to come away with him while keeping Khris, though - that’s insane.

Bucks trade Jrue for at least 2 firsts.

Bucks trade Bobby for at least 1 first.

Bucks send those 3 firsts + our 2029 first (maybe swaps too) as part of a package for Dame.

The specifics matter of course...but is there a part of that scenario that seems wildly off base?

Feel like it'd get Portland returning our call at a baseline.

What do we think the Knicks trade for Jrue?

How about Jrue + Bobby?

Reasons why it’d not be much: they’re waiting for Giannis or Donovan Mitchell next offseason.

But if they think they’d still have enough ammo after this to get Embiid or another star maybe they’d see it as a precursor move.

Variable that Dolan’s gonna Dolan too.

This is what I was playing with earlier today, likely too much value coming our way, and too many players going to Portland, but a man can dream:

Mke: Dame, Quickley
Portland: barrett, Mitchell, Kessler edwards, marjon, sims
bucks ‘29 first, Dallas ‘24 first, Sacramento ‘26 first, bucks ‘28 and ‘30 swap
Nyk: Jrue
Sac: Bobby

If you think so. I disagree on this abundance of ballhandlers. I’m more upset that we have to waste a roster spot while competing for a title
