Team has relied on pitching all year. I keep making this joke but as long as they only give up 0 runs they have a good shot at winning.

And what is the point of having Horwitz on the bench at this point? Or is he no longer on the roster?

Knowing Schneider, he's probably unaware that Horwitz can play either LF or 2B despite doing it in the minors.

Legit the worst 90ish win team ever. So dumb. But I'll take it.

Other teams would take this gift from God and go on a run but they'll lose 4-1 tmr in embarrassing fashion.

Starting from the 6th

Kirk stupidly going for a double and getting caught
Chris Bassitt making a nonsense throw to first almost leading to a run.
Chapman and Espinal not PH for in the 7th.
Espinal not pinch hit for again, and again, and again.
Bo Bichette not tagging up at 3rd properly on the fly to Verdugo
Whit being a tad slow reacting to Kirk's hit, and getting caught off second.
Bo Bichette not getting up the plate in time putting him down 0-1 in a crucial at bat.
Vlad not tagging up at second in the 13th.

Did I miss any? (EDIT - Added the Bo falling behind 0-1 ... thanks Sharone)

But great job by the pen though.

This game was the textbook definition of winning ugly. We barely won smh. This jays team really has to work hard to squeeze some juice/offense out of this batting lineup. At least we have elite starting pitching and a deep and reliable bullpen.

First walkoff win for Toronto since that win back in mid may against the braves. That was 4 months ago.

Bo starting his at bat in the 11th 0–1 after being not ready to hit on time. He ended up 1 strike away from not cashing that run and we lose.

Team of destiny.
9. Similarly, IF THOU HAST SPENT the entire offseason predicting that thy team will stink, thou shalt not gloat, nor even be happy, shouldst thou turn out to be correct. Realistic analysis is fine, but be a fan first, a smug smarty-pants second.

Will be interesting to see how Cole Ragans reacts tonight against Houston.
Did the lapse last time against Toronto, cause some lingering issues confidence wise / mentally?

So far, so good, he had a clean first inning.

2 of this team's last 3 wins were that game and the game Ragans forgot how to pitch.

You think that was fun, imagine using this thread as your play-by-play.

This is not a good hitting team. 8 hits in 13 innings is about on par for this team

At this point we shouldn’t expect more than 3-4 runs/game from this offence

Cleveland comes back with 2 runs in the bottom of the 8th -- now take a 2-1 lead heading into the ninth.

KC up 4-0 in the 4th against Houston.

Teams are literally handing it to us, and we are trying our best to give it back.
