A recent report from Boston Celtics insider Adam Kaufmann revealed that point guard Malcolm Brogdon could still be traded in the future. He noted that Brogdon isn’t “actively being dangled” for trade, but is “absolutely on the trade block”.

“Malcolm Brogdon still very much could be traded. I have heard some whispers that the Celtics are still trying to trade him... I have been saying for weeks, for months ever since the trade fell apart, do not be surprised if the fallout from this situation still leads to Malcolm Brogdon getting traded. I still believe Malcolm Brogdon is maybe not actively being dangled out there by the Celtics, but I think he is absolutely on the trade block. I firmly, firmly believe that.”

We will all find out soon enough. Training camp a few weeks away.

Won't happen without some other big move(s) so it looking like there are some bigger potential deals on horizon is the one thing that makes me wonder.

I like Kaufman, but he always strikes me as more 'fan blogger' than 'insider with any sources' -- my guess is he's just filling air time on his podcast by positing a difference between "actively being dangled" and "being on the trade block" -- which is a shrug -- I imagine it's a given that the Celtics would have moved Brogdon all summer if the right deal comes along, but assuming it doesn't, we move towards media day next Monday and see what happens with him at the trade deadline or before next July 1.

Are you talking about the picture of Baynes & Tatum's dad?

Tristan Thompson. He had an IG story of him working out.

I don’t know about the Tristan one, but Tatum’s dad just started coaching in Australia, so probably just sent Jayson a pic with Baynes.

Can’t believe how much the media is getting out of one of the most inevitable trades I remember. Lillard will be in Miami eventually.

I think the only thing we know for certain is until an actual trade has been complete even true rumors can change on a dime..

Certainly interesting. Would have to be Brogdon, White, RW3, young players, draft picks. Brogdon to a 3rd team for more assets. Would be bold.

Minimum would be pritchard, white and Brogdon. Just for salary matching anyway. Remember we're in the first apron now so we can't take in excess salary. I mean this makes 0 sense and wont happen but if it did, that's the minimum for salary matching. Which is weird cause its all guards

Just a matter of Dame saying he'll play in Boston. Will that happen? Who knows. Celts were in on it early, and still monitoring.

I don’t want to trade White for Dame and i still say Dame (before Smart trade) is my favorite non celts. We need to figure something else out if they insist on Dame. Do we have anymore pieces to tape together?

Horford + Williams + Brogdon + Walsh works. Then just sign BOTH Boogie and Dwight or Whiteside as our bigs. CHAMPIONSHIPS!!

From the other day

The Blazers FO is doing God’s work.

I wonder if Dame has made it known he would come here, as everyone knows Tatum was recruiting him. And because of that, the odds shot up, as opposed to any actual intel between the teams front offices. This report from last night was interesting.
